Tottenham St Totteringham's day all over again. What is Delph, Wilshere and Townsend doing there? Karma is a bitch.

We looked ragged as hell in these warm-up games. Seem to have done that classic England thing where we peak at the end of qualifying and then suddenly the team we've been building falls apart just before the tournament. It feels like the same thing every two years.
Our defense will just be completely torn apart by an incisive strike force.

Had a bad sports day yesterday. Vettel came fourth in qualifying at Monaco and Kimi was sixth with a five place gearbox penalty. Then Red Bull had a clever idea of trying to get Ricciardo on pole with the super softs. It worked. I hate Red Bull!!!!!!!! Fortunately, it is raining so that looks like it might be a pointless exercise.
Also Sheffield Wednesday lost in their Premier League promotion play off match will Hull at Wembley.
Hopefully today will be a better day. If not, there is always Game of Thrones to look forward to.

Liam Cunningham is in Monaco, Sky Sports F1 usually try and interview him. See if we get any juicy Game of Thrones info. Ted Kravitz always plays dumb and says he wants to know for his wife. I knew Ser Davos was going to survive season 5 from the interview Liam gave at the Monaco GP last year.

Germany's B team getting destroyed by Slovakia and most fun about this game is that I noticed just now that we switched goalkeepers. Because Leno and Ter Stegen look like Average German Dude #1 and #2.

Bugger, 4th and a DNF. Ferrari, get your bloody strategies sorted. No point in plonking Vettel behind Massa at Monaco, you need a 3-4 second advantage to overtake.

Townsend had a brilliant end to the season for us, was the only reason we were anywhere near escaping relegation. Has also been consistently good for England, though I agree he probably won't make the cut. Could work as an impact sub but he's a luxury really, much too limited. I imagine Townsend, Drinkwater and Rashford won't make it since Hodgson seems stubborn in remaining loyal to the players he used in qualifying, regardless of whether it's deserved. 2 out of 3 but I reckon Delph would have been picked if he didn't get injured. We have a bloody smorgasbord of forwards and none of them are particularly versatile - all but Rooney are most suited to hanging off the last man. Oh well. What do you guys think of the German squad? Got to feel bad for Reus.

Anyone watching? Romania nearly silenced the crowd early. France just getting a feel at the moment but you'd think if their attack gets going they will be lovely to watch.

This is the first match I was able to watch live unfortunately. :/ It's understandable, I mean it's only been on for 2 days haha, though it feels like longer. My god that was a gutting result. I've not seen us look so dynamic and threatening in competition football for a long time, that first half was superb only without the clinical finishing. Then we seemed to lose pace and movement in the second half, whilst still in control. Even Rooney was playing brilliantly from midfield, though Russia gave him so much time and space. Kane was completely off his game and unfortunately he's the only goalscoring threat from our front three, which is a problem. Russia are complete dogshit. They really are, worst team in our group. Not beating them is a travesty. I expect so little and I'm still let down.

Don't worry thanks to UEFA blowing up the tournament, there's a pretty decent chance for you guys. Anyway, one hour to go!

My favorite moment of the tournament was when the NIR fans started singing the awesome "Will Grigg's on fire"- chant. Hilarious.
