How many of these articles are they doing where they rationalize spending hours and hours speculating about bumpkiss? (She who does not read spoilers finds it very amusing.)

Yeah, I was confused by that entire article. Did we really think Shae was returning?? It also demonstrates how spoilers can make the show disappointing. The article mentions how they speculated that the Siege of Meereen would be longer and ended up being underwhelmed. Whereas I had no idea there would actually be a siege, so when it happened I was pleasantly surprised.

As far as know this 'sneak' pic from filming did not occur in season 6, there are few others of these. It seems there were more Meereen street scenes in Peñíscola shot than used, Shae could have gone on the cutting room floor. So much for that sleeve job!

And that shows that at the end of the day, our speculation and theories turns out make us look stupid if one look back to it.

You miss out when you try not being spoiled on stuff like "Shae is gonna be one of Faceless men!" or "Tyrion gets high and sees her"

I have a lingering question about the Greyjoys. Is anyone bothered that Yara so easily gave up the Ironborn way of life? Do you think she meant it? She seemed sincere to me.
I always wondered how she was okay with rape as a woman...in times of war, it's usually such a gender-specific degradation. And after what Theon has been through, I can see why he'd make no argument. Still, it's kind of weird that she gave up so easily after she was her father's #1 reaver for so many years and took such pride in it. It struck me as out of character. Maybe she just knew she wasn't going to get any second chances with Dany. I wonder if her thinking will get any attention or if we're just supposed to accept it and move on.

Yara is proud to be ironborn and their traditions, but she is also pragmatic, and if she can get the independence her father failed to get without going to war with all Westeros, she is going to take that chance. She can't ask Dany to let the Iron Islands to be separate from Westeros without any conditions, and giving up the raids is always going to be a part of that deal. IIRC, in the books, Asha knows that old way is never going to make the Iron Islands prosper, if they base their wealth and prosperity in stealing and raping and enslaving, sooner or later all Westeros will go after them and destroy them. She wants to look for new ways to make the islands prosper, and she would probably got her wishes if Euron hadn't crashed the kingsmoot.

All of this, as well as the fact that Asha didn't have much choice in the matter. She needed this alliance with Dany, this protection. So she was willing to make pretty big concessions. I would also think she saw a woman she admired greatly and who was powerful without resorting to the Ironborn way of life, and she had great respect for that

I kind of hated the Pyke chapters, so I flew through them.
