yeah it looks really nice from the back, so i hope its interesting from the front too. unfortunately i think they also submitted this ep for costumes because dorne will feature in this episode and they probably got new costumes as well. margaery got a new dress in this episode too. it looks very rich mormon chic lol. It's bizarre to me how they didn't submit anything from Braavos. The costumes there were so distinctive and interesting. Sham snakes is just some belts on tits and bad pusseh personally i've loved many of the dany's outfits this season. i'm really glad that michelle clapton finished up, was getting bored of her work

i personally think it would be really effective to follow the white raven around the latter half of the episode as it reaches each destination in Westeros. Ending with the wall, and then Dany.

Maybe Bran passes through Castle Black? I think it's more likely that his group goes through the Nightfort gate, but I guess it's possible. Sadly the soundtrack seems to confirm that the Wall won't fall.

They'll probably use a generic white walker theme for it or it may be released next time. or never. I am not sure either if the Wall will fall, i was always against it i figured it wouldn't be necessary if the NK can walk through a gate. But there was a bit of foreshadowing in Jon's last words to Edd. EDIT: they may use aspects of hold the door!

Any thoughts on what'll happen with Melisandre? I feel like she'll be banished by Jon so she'll go south and eventually meet up with Arya again next season (and maybe be killed by her?)

Arya might reach winterfell next season

There's a track named 'The Winds of Winter', and it's clearly the Targaryen and Greyjoy themes mixed. And it's obviously the track playing over the credits. So season probably ends in a Dany scene.

Maybe Davos will leave when Jon decides to do nothing? Someone's got to go surely.

i think the wall will fall at the end of season 7 But then it would be just 7 or 8 episodes for the whole WW invasion. Kinda lame after seven years of build up.

i think the wall will fall at the end of season 7 Yeah I thought season 6 was too early. ~15 episodes of White Walkers running about in the North while other storylines aren't close to being wrapped up? That would really have undermined the stakes.

Sadly the soundtrack seems to confirm that the Wall won't fall. Yeah, that's a disappointment, title suits perfectly But it's too soon for that, not all politic issues was resolved and we need space for that, with collapse of the Wall there won't be any. I would be satisfied if Bran pass the Wall (Nightfort would be a perfect place, but Castle Black still be good as well) and last scene in his story will be camera focusing on single growing crack in ice wall which nobody noticed. Nice cliffhanger, but probably not gonna happen (ToJ?). Bran's mark should have more implications: first step to break the spell, second and final would be Night King do something like outside the cave- put his hand on the ground to destroy magic barrier completely. When the Wall will collapse? Final scene of S7 would be perfect, but is 6 or 7 episodes of S8 enough for great war? I don't know how to feel about it

Just because the wall falls doesn't mean the NK attacks straight away. He is strategic about the attacks and they seem to take their time. If the wall falls in this ep I don't think we'd get a white walk battle until season 8 anyway.

Well, I don't think there's necessarily even going to be any War for Dawn 2.0.

If the wall falls in this ep I don't think we'd get a white walk battle until season 8 anyway. It'd be better to attack when your enemies are dazed and confused. There'd be nothing more confusing than a colossal wall of ice falling right in front of you. Like with the attack on the 3ER's cave, the NK didn't break the spell then wait. He went straight in there with a massive army. Im thinking that Bran makes it to the Wall some time on season 7, and removes the magical ward protecting it, then at the end the NK comes in, tears the wall down and starts marching south

The NK wanted to get rid of just one man, the 3ER and there was no reason to wait as the cave people were vastly outnumbered. But he seems to pick and choose when he'll appear to fight large hoards of men and add them to his army. I think he'll be after Bran during season 7 because he knows about him and how to defeat him. But yeah I agree the wall can wait
