This trailer is life. The episode will struggle to top these 30 seconds alone. And they did decide to make it single-location! I'm glad, there was still plenty of build up left and they can cover it all. Very happy. It's been said in multiple places (including Hibberd at THR who is basically like hearing from HBO) that Meereen will also be in the episode. I think 40 minutes for Snowbowl is the time being tossed around, which is still a ton of screentime for the battle. I imagine the promo is just Snowbowl because it's THE BIG THING in the episode and it would hard to create a promo that integrated the other storyline as well so they just didn't bother. I know that but the previews are usually pretty determinate. I don't see why they couldn't have had 15 seconds of Meereen before segueing into Snowbowl. But I don't know, I guess we'll see from promo stills and the like. |

I think they just have a harder time with it being only 2 and one of them is going to be the major one. As far as the marketing of the episode goes, this was the smart move. |

They did say that this was the most complex and epic battle sequence they'd ever shot so I guess we should have expected this somewhat. But those are some gorgeous shots...looks like a doozy.
