I guess people got their wish that Ramsay would fuck off for the whole midseason. Now we're going to get a scene of him drowning kittens next week. NO! Please Cogman!

Nah. I don't see him showing up. The ep's both busy and short. I wouldn't worry. I don't think we'll see him again till 608. If then.

Are we sure that we won't see Manderly at White Harbor? They are showing more than Bear Island with Deepwood Motte now so there is still a chance. Hopefully in 608, we see Hornwood, Castle Cerwyn, and White Harbor then because I don't think they'd be able to fit all that into this episode.

I guess it depends on what all the shooting dates are for characters we'd expect to turn up in their different places. I think you've got a better grasp on them than I do though.

I guess it depends on what all the shooting dates are for characters we'd expect to turn up in their different places. I think you've got a better grasp on them than I do though. Lord Robett Glover, who appears in this episode. A haggard-looking lord in his fifties. He’s the lord of a noble house, described as intelligent, wry, incisive and articulate. He’s “a hard man and a realist.” Game of Thrones is searching for an actor who is “great with language and who has a lot of wattage.” They mention that he has a good and long scene in which it’s mostly the haggard-looking lord talking the entire time. The character is scheduled to shoot the first two weeks of December in Northern Ireland. But filming for two weeks makes it seem like more than one episode. Lord Cley CerwynHe’s a callow young nobleman in his 20’s who has been thrust into a position of power before he is ready. They’re looking for an actor using a Northern accent, and one who is physically fit, can play somewhat hot-headed and can look rugged. Our source says the character has a couple speeches in a scene with leading cast. He’s only expected to shoot for one day- December 16th- in Northern Ireland.Lord Wyman ManderlyHe is a fat nobleman in his 60’s. He has distinctive rugged features, a Northern accent, and a distinguished air. Our source says he has a stirring speech during which he unexpectedly shifts political allegiances. The actor is only expected to shoot for one day- the same day as the above role, on December 16th, in Northern Ireland. There was no casting call for Lyanna Mormont so we don't have her dates and she's appearing in this episode. I'm sure it was sometime in December though. Although in the leaks it only mentions her in the scene saying she has less than 100 men, so it would make sense if Jon, Sansa, and Davos travel to more Northern castles besides Bear Island and Deepwood Motte.

I did not realise that was Tim McInnerny! He's also great in Notting Hill. Great acting range.

Has anyone said definitely who the guy is that we just get to see the feet walking at the end of the promo? I'm going with Meribald. There are some dead bodies lying around in the grass in the background though so I'm not sure what that's about. Yes, I'm voting for Ray Meribald too... walking over some kind of battleground with dead corpses lying around would give the right background for his "Broken Men" speech. P.S.: Or is it a time traveller from Bran's visions? Those shoes look so 20th century to me... P.P.S.: Anyone dares to make a guess what Sansa is writing?

So which Frey is that in the promo? The one who killed Talisa and little Ned, or the one who killed Cat? They've both been recast, right?

Confirmed from the promo: The Riverlands: Riverrun The North: Bear Island, Deepwood Motte, and Team Stark Camp King's Landing Volantis We also know Braavos will appear. I'm pretty sure we'll see Meereen too. I think Dany and The Reach will be absent in this episode. I'm so glad we're getting that much needed break from Ramsay. I really feared we might see him tormenting Rickon for several episodes and I was going to have to get seriously critical of the writers overusing his sadism to the point it's nauseating and bad writing. And no, no drowning kittens @konradsmith ! "I did what I had to do to survive. I will always be a Stark." It looks to me like Sansa's going to get some criticism for being married to Ramsay Bolton. Is this how others are seeing it? I need to really watch the promo slowed down or scene by scene but seems to me there's an emphasis on conflict in gathering the northern houses. That will be really interesting. Definitely much hype for 6x07!

Definitely much hype for 6x07! I think Sansa will be asked why she is suddenly against the Boltons despite marrying one (seemingly by choice). They don't know that she was coerced by an older man to marry into the Bolton family. They don't know she only half-heartedly agreed to it in order to destroy the Boltons from within. She will also have to tell them that she was raped and physically and mentally humiliated by Ramsay. The Northern Lords and Ladies don't know what we know, so to them it will seem like Sansa gave up her Stark name because she wanted to be a Bolton. Which of course anyone who has been paying attention to the show knows it's not what happened. I'm also super hyped for 6x07!

"I did what I had to do to survive. I will always be a Stark." Because LF would've killed her had she not agreed to marry Ramsay, right?

For comparison: I can see now that he is the one who looks disturbed by something in the promo, the one who killed Cat

"I did what I had to do to survive. I will always be a Stark." Because LF would've killed her had she not agreed to marry Ramsay, right? I think she is referring to when she already knew about Ramsay's character. She could not have refused then, because she was already a prisoner. Also, I encourage you and everyone else to rewatch that particular scene. She strongly disagreed with Littlefinger about marrying Ramsay. But LF managed to manipulate her into thinking that's the right thing to do in order to avenge her family and destroy the Boltons from within. Littlefinger: "You loved your family. Avenge them." It's beyond me how anyone could interpret this as Sansa being a traitor. The show makes it pretty obvious. They literally have the characters explain their motives. But haters gonna hate I guess.
