Oh I hadn't seen this stuff before. Looks like this faith militant stuff is going to start getting more complicated. Meanwhile to the North, Winter Comes. Fucking Faith of the Seven AND Cersei. I hate them both. Ever since Hardhome Kings Landing has become irrelevant (one could say since Watchers on the Wall , an event on the books). No matter what happens in the South they are fucked if they don't respond to the Dark-Force-beyond-the Wall. The only stories relevant right now are the events in the North , Essos and weird to say the Ironborn (because they will have the 1000 ships), there may also be help for the followers of the Red God. The big question is can Westeros hold out against the OthersWhiteWalkersNighKingthingy, until Dany and Essos forces and somehow Bran and whothehellever ally and meet the threat on the battlefield. The Red Keep is irrelevant. No one , tho, is interested in the big picture. I agree.
Although I think the wall will come down, and winter will spread all the way to Kings Landing. That is where I believe Jon, Dany, and everyone will meet up. It's the only thing that will get the South's attention, since they think it's all just a bunch of grumpkins and snarks past the wall. And I'd imagine the Vale, Wildlings, and the Northern men will come with Sansa & Jon, while Dorne will come up from further south to Kinglanding. What remains of the Lannisters (hopefully just Jaime and Tyrion with their men...please God let Cersei be dead by then) will also join forces. I'd prefer that Freys are completely wiped out. And of course the dragons! And Bran! All united under one cause...survival. They'll play out the song of ice and fire, and we'll find out who lives and who dies, because while I believe they'll win...George doesn't like fairy tale endings, I'd imagine. Several of our favorites are going to go down like heroes.
But yes, everything happening in Kings Landing right now means nothing. Other than maybe Cersei dying so that when shit finally hits the fan, she's not in the way. Plus, I hate her.

Someone needs to tell Jaime though. Whether it be Bronn or Podrick when he meets with Brienne again. (Assuming Pod knows from being around Tyrion? idk bit of a stretch) But it's ridiculous he hasn't learned of that yet. Really this is just all flipped on its ass in the show. Jaime loves Cersei. They probably just banged before he left for RL. Something has to happen between this and him - going by popular theory - killing Cersei In the books it's this whole thing - Jaime knows Cersei used him, cheated on him, didn't have the same devotion for him as he does for her. And he knows in the name of something like that he did a lot of bad. In the show - Jaime is crazy about Cersei then Cersei goes insane, kills a bunch of people and Tommen kills himself
still not enough imho for Jaime to kill her just based on that, especially given his "fuck the rest of the world" philosophy

I agreed with all of your post except that part I bolded. It's my suspicion that focus has returned to the middle parts of Westeros because that's where the big showdown may end up happening. Think about this: - Iron Islands - Riverrun - Oldtown (and Horn Hill) - The Twins ... All of those have recently come into focus after a long time of focus in the far north and mostly the south parts of Westeros. But players are now taking part from all of those areas and other players from north and south are headed there. Why? Because that could be where they decide to face off with the oncoming army. There's good reason the Children of the Forest tried to cut off the land at "The Neck" which caused the swamps there to be formed. And Greywater Watch in the middle of it! Interactive Map for reference (I'm always bad with the geography so I like looking at it when I make war speculations): content-mcdn.feed.gr/filesystem/images/20160304/low/pegasus_LARGE_t_1581_106844396.JPGWith Meera and Benjen heading south with Bran, maybe they will go to Greywater Watch? Maybe Bran will see through his visions how the original Children performed their 'terraforming' magic and they will try to bottleneck the White Walkers and their army there. All the southern armies would be rallied around Oldtown maybe ... and the northern armies could try and cut them off from Moat Cailin or White Harbor or GreyWater... IF Cersei actually ends up burning down King's Landing - it doesn't seem like it's going to matter as any sort of seat of power or focus point in the bigger war to come. We should shift our attention to the middle-lands. That's where everything is starting to come together. We'll know for sure in the next few episodes where the power struggle there ends up.

You definitely could be right, Envie.
Although, I was kind of thinking that's where one or two major battles would take place in Winds. And Jon, Sansa and Co. would be holding the Others at bay with everything they have. But when everything begins to look bleak Dany shows up with Unsullied, Dothraki and her dragons.
But who knows? It could go any way.
A long time ago I was always saying that the Eyrie would be a great place to defend and do a sort of "final stand", a bit like they did at Helm's Deep. The only problem with the Eyrie is I don't know how many people could fit there army-wise, and if they could store enough food. But it was said that a few men could hold the climb up into the Eyrie. It's possible that SOMEONE holds there, even if it's not a final battle. Same goes for the Twins and a few other locations. Great stop-gaps to hold off the White Walkers.
So many possibilities. I love it.

More than year ago GRRM sort of lobbied for a movie saying "those dragons get awfully big".

Anyway, this confirms that the reason Arya is in the water is because of Sandor's silvers.

Looking even more likely that Dinklage will skip a second episode in a row. Who know such a feat was possible? What a time to be alive.

Series regulars for this episode then: Jaime Cersei Jon Davos Margaery Sansa Arya Theon High Sparrow Tormund Bronn I assume that's it unless Mel, Jaqen, and Tommen appear too. And Sandor, but he probably won't be added back until S7
