Considering that Bran was still in a vision as Meera was pulling him, I think it's possible that he starts to see flashes similar to in S4 when he touched the Weirwood tree and that's why Ned appears. And then once Bran wakes up after they are being chased by wights, that's when Benjen shows up to save them. Maybe this is when he sees Jaime killing the Mad King, if that shot from the trailer indeed is the infamous Kingslaying.

Yeah it could work better if its just a glimpse rather than a whole scene devoted to it

This episode actually has quite a lot to do: It has to introduce the Tarly family, there's the massive KL sequence, it has to reintroduce Walder Frey, and (presumably) Benjen This is gonna be a good one!

seriously how many more boring long speeches of the high sparrow and "OMGGGGG SOOOO SASSY WHAT A BURNNN!!!!" lines from olenna am i gonna have to suffer? i know lena had just had her baby when season 6 was filmed so therefore she's not getting as much screentime this season but KL could be so much more compelling if they fleshed out cersei more this season and starting showing her madness more rather than same boring bullshit tyrells and high sparrow scenes. and if marge's stupid ass actually allies herself with the high sparrow then i'm 100000% done. cersei seriously needs to kill all those cunts. because she's the only character with enough relevance to have any impact when dany and tyrion come to westeros. Yeah, I heard there were people who prefer the "kill all those cunt scenes" over "boring long speeches", but I'm always fascinated again how different things can be perceived. For me, the High Sparrow / Tyrell / Cersei / Jaime storyline is by far the most interesting, most complex one so far this season. Others prefer Dawn-of-the-Dead zombies crawling goblin-like on the ceiling of a cave. Still, you must not fear: Cersei will kill all "those cunts" (no spoilers here, just my speculation). But you can be sure of another thing: by the time Daenerys comes to Westeros, the Mad Queen Cersei will be dead and gone, and snow will drift through the ruins of the Red Keep. After having witnessed (and caused) the death of her third child, it won't be long before she meets her end. No place in the endgame for her ;-).

The flight of Bran and Meera from the White Walkers is going to be big in the next episode. There's also some Dothraki / Dany marching though I don't expect that to be a lot, just enough to remind us they are once again 'traveling' for awhile. I think King's Landing will take up a majority of the episode though.

I can just imagine Cersei standing in the Throne Room, shadowed by the Mountain, glaring at Margaery as the young queen triumphantly strides past her.

But yeah I do agree that KL really needs to be centered around Cersei, especially in this second half of the season that's coming.

We've gotten hints that she's up to something, but we're halfway thru and I still am unsure what her plan is exactly. She needs to get back in the swing of things lol. Oh I miss seasons 4 and 5, when she was the main character in KL.

How many storylines can we expect for this episode? It's a rather short episode. I'm thinking in King's Landing (15 minutes), Sam & Horn Hill (10 minutes), Bran (6 minutes), Braavos (6 minutes), The Twins (6 minutes) and Dany (5 minutes). I think that Meereen and The North will be absent next week. And they should be, IMHO, especially Meereen. Of course, Peter Dinklage has not missed a single episode since "The Watchers on The Wall" in Season 4, so probably they will shoehorn Tyrion.
