Do we think that shot from trailer #1 of Tommen and Cersei storming towards each other in the throne room from this episode? Seems like more of an ep 9 or 10 scene to me It could be from 607 or 608.

Until this happens yeah that should be cool. but right now i'm much more invested in the north. and i like arya's storyline even though the pacing is flawed. and i'm hoping that ep 6 can make me invested in KL because cersei is one of my absolute faves ugh

I like that Arya is finally with the acting troupe because her getting beating up by The Waif was getting repetitive. KL has been one of the least intriguing so far for me, but it does seem like they're building up to a huge moment. Hopefully Cersei gets more screentime in the second half, which I think she will.

The "Dinklage has a clause in his contract that says he needs to be on the show a lot" complaints are strange given that Tyrion has the most chapters in the books (by a good margin) and Martin has stated numerous times that he's his favourite character.
Sorry you don't like one of the 3 main characters of the story but he's one of the three main characters of the story.

But to not get why they have Tyrion appear a lot throughout every season is always strange to me. He's a big deal and his story is very important, it has nothing to do with the actor or some kind of D&D bias. If you have complaints, you can write to George on his Livejournal page.

I assume the next scenes in Meereen will be Kinvara and her priestesses preaching in the streets about Dany. Tyrion seeing his hallucination of Shae, the riot at the granary, and then Varys saying goodbye to Tyrion and leaving Meereen for KL or Dorne. However, I mentioned twice in this thread that Bender was in Peniscola so I think Tyrion could still appear in this episode. I'm pretty sure the second half will be a lot more intriguing though.

He's definitely one of the most important characters, but that doesn't mean they have to show him in overly long, pointless scenes just for the sake of showing him, which is why I do believe Dink's contract requires a minimum amount of screentime that is quite high. That awful scene of his with GW and Miss Sunday made it very clear to me. Jon and Dany are just as important as Tyrion, probably even more, but they skip episodes when necessary. So far Dany's been in 45 episodes, Jon in 46 and Tyrion in 51. It's quite a difference. Even in S5, which was his worst season so far with so little to do, he appeared in every single episode.

I think S4 was the only time that Tyrion, Jon, and Dany appeared in the same amount of episodes, which was 8. Cersei and Jaime ended up taking the lead appearing in 9 episodes. I'm still curious who will end up with the most screentime this season though.

If not, I'd say it'll be Tyrion.

More of a general observation because I hear the "Dinklage must have a clause in his contract" thing all the time and it's really unfounded. They write lots of Tyrion scenes because they want to continue to keep him in the forefront. Because he's one of, if not the most important characters on the show. It's not a conspiracy theory.

Bran is definitely more important to the endgame than Tyrion is, but that didn't stop him from spending an entire season offscreen. Dink might be the biggest name in the main cast right now, so he's entitled to extra perks. It's no conspiracy theory, that's just how the industry works.

Bran has had 3 chapters devoted to him in the past 2 books. THREE.
Tyrion has had 47 chapters over the course of the series. You don't have to look any further than this.

Although if Tyrion is indeed one of the 3 heads of the dragon I could see him having a huge impact on both the war for dawn and the IT in the end. As opposed to Bran, who will likely have nothing to do GoT.
