Hmm, that seems about right. I've been back and forth whether or not Jon is indeed legit. It's difficult to say, i think it won't every be truly resolved. Because although the Targaryen's practice polygamy it was only done by the kings because they were the only ones who could bully the Seven into accepting it. Rhaegar was never king, he could have married Lyanna but it doesn't make the marriage official. I have always contented myself on the fact Jon is actually a very important blood link to both sides regardless of whether he was born legitimate or not. It's highly doubtful anyone in Westeros will recognize that legitimacy at this point and really, after his epic resurrection, I'll go with what Davos told him: "What does it matter? You go on."  True, dat!  |

Do people really think we're going to get the R+L=J reveal midseason? Seems like a finale type of thing to me. I kind of think we will. The audience (and Bran) will learn of this before Jon does, though - so the BIG reveal still won't have happened. I think the season finale might be Jon finding out who his parents are. |

I guess we're finding out then. That should be very interesting. Do you think we'll get the full reveal at the ToJ, how it all went down with Liana and Rhaegar or do you think some of it will be left ambiguous? They will probably have Lyanna drop verbal exposition bombs at Ned. I think this is the last Lyanna flashback. Maybe they show the nature of the relationship in flashback in e5 by showing kidnapping or them falling in love depending what the truth is but that can be done in promise me scene with Lyanna simply telling Ned Will we ever get any Rhaegar flashbacks? Either R+L or just Rhaegar in any capacity would make me very happy. |

I think this is also gonna be the second ToJ scene - blood of my blood referring to Jon, Lyanna and Ned I just had a horrifying thought. What if the scene reveals no more than the books and all we get is a dying Lyanna saying, "Promise me, Ned!"  |

Looks like this may be the first appearance of the Freys this season (the scene in the Twins in the trailer), though I'm thinking it makes more sense for it to be in episode 7

R+L=J I expect some decent Greyjoy stuff this episode, some Stark moments, Lannisters and maybe a minor reveal. Nothing major. It'll be one for the family. |

I think this episode will be about family ties and loyalties. dany might choose bloodriders or send jorah on a mission. Jaime will rescue Margery from the sept and Jon and sansa will be campaigning north. |
