Storylines to be Featured:Beyond the Wall, Braavos, King's Landing, Meereen, The Reach, The Wall, Vaes Dothrak, and WinterfellKing's Landing: Red Keep: Cersei tells Qyburn she wishes to hear the plans of her enemies. Jaime and the Mountain are present. / Qyburn addresses a group of children in his laboratory. Sept of Baelor: Tommen confronts the High Sparrow. The High Sparrow tells him that the sinful deserve death.The Reach: Sam is seasick as he sails south with Gilly.
Winterfell: Smalljon Umber brings a gift for Ramsay.
The Wall: Jon rises. / The wildlings look at Jon in awe. / Davos looks surprised.
Beyond the Wall: Bran and the Three-Eyed Raven are transported to the Tower of Joy in a vision. Ned Stark and his companions draw their swords. Wielding two swords, Arthur Dayne fights several northerners outside the castle before embarking on a one-on-one duel with Ned Stark. Dayne is finally struck down by Howland Reed, who attacks him from behind. The Three-Eyed Raven looks on with sadness.
Braavos: The Waif strikes Arya in the House of Black and White. / Arya regains her sight. / Arya trains with the Waif.
Vaes Dothrak: Dany and the khalasar approach Vaes Dothrak. She gazes at the massive horse statues and is greeted by Khal Moro. / Dany is stripped bare by the Dosh Khaleen.
Meereen: Varys finds an answer. Tyrion sits in the small council. / Yunkish master Razdal arrives to Meereen. / Tyrion meets with the masters in the throne room.

So I'm guessing the Umbers are going to side with the Boltons because of their hate of the Wildlings. It would be the only reason they would only decide to come on board and turn over Rickon to Ramsay now and not earlier. And while I'm not sure exactly how the Manderly's fit in, they are clearly going to be more than just namechecked. Ramsay stated that as long as they had the Karstarks, Umbers and Manderly's with them, they didn't need the rest of the Northern houses. With the Umbers and Karstarks on board, the Manderlys will be positioned as the tweener house who I assume will side with the Starks when Wyman gives his big speech at Bear Island. Either that or they are setting up some kind of turn on the Boltons by the Manderly's later on to mirror their scheme in ADwD. I don't think that's going to be the case though. |

I loved that tiny glimpse of reaction we got from the wildlings and night's watchmen from Jon's POV. I wonder if they're going to do a first person thing? That would be cool. I cannot wait to find out what he is like now. If they follow Mr. Martin's details about life after death, he can't possibly be the same Jon Snow ever again. Very exciting.

Wonder if we actually get Sam & Gilly landing in the Reach? Or will it just be a,quick scene on the boat? I would think that Oldtown would be added to the opening sequence so that will probably give us a clue. |
