@witchy - Torchwood Boy's reaction video is so cute. I know he's one of your favs on Youtube. I have favorite reactors. Haha! Actually, I think he's really sweet because I think he was he first person I ever watched react to something on purpose. He was so raw at first. A few months on, and his reactions seem a little fake to me, like he's performing. Ah well. It's a new kind of performance, I guess. My fav is probably Redbeard. He's expressive and completely sincere.

But I stumbled on them again at some point and decided they're hilarious.

She also made a monstrous flubberroo! Aye, but that doesn't cancel the things he directly witnessed her do. The visions were not something he ever witnessed. And he still is clueless about Shireen. Again, him wanting to protect the body is not only about this crazy notion he has. The mutineers just left Jon lying there dead. They clearly were not going to give him a funeral. So even if Mel could not revive him he still had an instinct to give dead Jon his respects and let his friends say goodbye. It's hard to say whether or not Davos is thinking of Mel when he tells the guys to bring Jon's corpse inside. First and foremost he is realizing that treason has just been committed, and that puts anybody loyal to Jon in imminent danger. So I think he wants to get them all to safety, while also moving Jon's corpse out of respect. Then while locked up in that room he has to evaluate their situation, his first priority being surviving Thorne and his goons. The wheels are turning in his head, and then he thinks of Mel as a powerful ally they might have.

I don't know if it has been mentioned, but they added a behind the scenes featurette for the first two episodes on HBO Now, it's under the extras section for "Home". I didn't see anything new in the background but it was cool to see them talk about how they did some of the more complex scenes. It says is a 5 part series so it looks like they'll be releasing one for all of the directors.

This episode's Beautiful Death better be Roose instead of Balon.

^ Does anybody know if featurettes like that are on HBOGo as well? Yup if you click on "Home", it's also listed under extras. It's called "Game of Thrones: Season 6 Game Revealed: Episodes 51 & 52." And somehow it's on YouTube:

I'm using HBO Now this season for the first time and still not sure how you navigate around - their main page isn't very intuitive plus they don't really advertise where the new episode will air, you just kind of have to be on the main page and wait for it to suddenly appear in the episodes list. I wish they'd make a lobby page for the new ones ready to start.

HBO is funny. They are so far ahead of the game when it comes to producing TV series that transcend the medium and feel more like watching movies. But their software has always been clunky and annoying to navigate. To be fair, companies like Netflix have had many more years to feel out the technology. One thing that is clear is that HBO is aware, and in fact appealing to younger generations that are ready to cut the cable cord invest in high quality streaming programming. I'll still buy all of the GoT blurays, but in the meantime, I'm happy to see HBO flip the bird to Comcast as more and more people subscribe to HBONow.

I still can't get over how cool that video is. Seeing Carice in the old-Mel prosthetics and seeing Ian Whyte in the Wun Wun prosthetics and getting better looks at all of the greenscreen involved is just so goddamn cool. If only there were a brief interview with Pilou and Malahide about the bridge scene then that would've been my favourite behind-the-scenes video to do with the show EVER.

Totally agree and I'm fine with paying 15 bucks a month for it because I have the freedom to cancel it whenever I want and not be hassled by cable companies and their shitty sales and customer service. Lots of channels are starting to go this route and it spells the end for the cable companies and their monopolies. I want my money to go directly to HBO since they are who works so hard to make the shows I enjoy. I don't want fucking Comcast and their greedy paws to have any of it.

Read all 34 pages, so there's not much to add but I love Carice van Houten's Dutch coming through when she speaks High Valyrian.

Long live HBO Now!I'm a proud "cut the cord" guy and had some random thoughts. #1 - You'll always need an ISP and Comcast makes a huge profit from ISP-only access only since they aren't paying all the subs to the 1000 channels. Still it's obviously cheaper for the consumer and that's why I do it. #2 - I'm amazed that HBO Go/Now never crashes and the next episode is always published at 9:00 EDT. They have not let me down once. #3 - I do agree that their interface could use some help. #4 - I only watched a few shots from that video, but it looks outstanding.

I thought I detected a hint of a different accent with her Valyrian over Emilia's and the other actors who have spoken it in the past. So Asshai must be similar to the Netherlands. Who knew!

I liked what they said about Roose and Ramsay.
