Count me in among those who think it refers to Jon. Maybe he resurrects in 6x02 and shows the finger to the Night's Watch in 6x03. I won't be surprised that this refers to Jon, though I would not consider him an oathbreaker since he was stabbed to death by his fellow Night's Watch and is now free man to do what he wants I am also thinking that this could also have something to do with Brienne's oath to Jaime, the flashback of Jaime killing Aerys, perhaps Bran doing something Bloodraven tells him not to.

I'd love for any type of strong Stoneheart hint on Mother's day. Tyrion killing Tywin on Father's Day in S4 was the most hilarious piece of irony.

The problem is that they won't start setting it up until someone is in Riverlands. Unless that scene in Twins from the trailer is in Oathbreaker to reintroduce us to Freys. Anything really, just a fucking shot of a rope on a tree, anything

Well now that we know Jon Snow came back to life in 6x02 ... we can safely say Oathbreaker probably relates to all the Night's Watchmen who killed him. I pray to the old gods and the new that Olly is the kingpin oathbreaker of them all - that little shit needs to get swung around like a slinky by Wun Wun.

Still haven't watched 6x02, but I just realized that the title might be referring to this scene back in season 1 where Robb calls Greatjon an oathbreaker.

Lost in all of this is that there's a good chance in E3 we'll get some kind of explanation of what happened to the Greatjon. That guy's been MIA since Robb sent him off on some vague Riverland missions between S1 and S2.

Probably just some off-hand comment like the Karstark's "Robb Stark cut off my father's head", something like "Robb Stark brought my father south with him and he never came back" My question is why the Smalljon has waited so long to reveal his 'gift'

Just tell me he's dead at least. I believe that the Wildlings being settled in the Gift (which is right near the Umbers) will be the reason provided by the Smalljon. Jon is the one who orchestrated that development and that will anger Smalljon who like the NW, will have been fighting off invading Wildlings on his land for a long time. It's the only real recent development that would cause a neutral party to take action (or switch allegiances).

So we can make a pretty good guess that "Oathbreaker" ties back to the oaths given to Robb Stark. I'm wondering if it's Jon Snow who recalls those oaths when Snowbowl is rallied.
The Night's Watch are also oathbreakers so 6x03 is going to be exciting with all the betrayal reminders.

- Umbers breaking oath to Starks (Rickon) - Jon Snow breaking his oath to the Night's Watch (now that he's died is it breaking an oath?)

- Umbers breaking oath to Starks (Rickon) - Jon Snow breaking his oath to the Night's Watch (now that he's died is it breaking an oath?) Well, nobody outside of Castle Black knows he died, and I doubt they ever will, so from their perspective it would seem like breaking an oath

Also, most people still believe that the Wall is a defence against the Free Folk, not the Others, so Jon letting them trespass the way he did could be considered oathbreaking as well.
