My theory is by the time Davos finds out what happens to Shireen, Mel is already dead. That makes it easier for Davos to transition to the Jon side. |

Yeah I'm kind of surprised, but I guess Alfie gives no fucks and it's his first scene of the season, which we've seen in the promo photos and trailers so not a huge deal, but him killing the Bolton solider is.  |

I don't know if there's a new guy under the costume or what. But the reason the face looks different is because they didn't add the CGI yet. IIRC the CGI people said they add one last layer of ice to his face digitally. |
