Not sure if any of you have noticed this, but the High Sparrow's speech about overthrowing an Empire is the same dialogue as given in the House Lannister teaser. Interesting. Lannister teaser

I also love how Qyburn's tagging along. He's finally made the big time after all his behind-the-scenes mischief. Now he's walking behind the Queen and his very own Frankenstein monster. I imagine he feels pretty great about himself. He's probably calling his mom right after this scene. "Mom I finally made it!!" But in all seriousness, I think Margaery's prison breaks may have been done without Cersei's knowledge. So here she's finding out and ready for a fight.

Guys why are the show haters talking about Davos character "being assassinated by the writers"? What am I missing in this 90 sec trailer? Can someone translate?

Well, you're our resident show hater, so if you don't know.... I dont care enough to hate on it actively but Davos seems to be best thing in that trailer for me. Apparantly the scene Mel whines to him suggests they "are working together" :shrugs: cannot keep up with the writers AND hatewatchers myself

I can't wait for the hatewatchers to complain about how different it is to the source material... I hope they don't spoil anything for the show-fans. Oh wait.

Roose is not the flayed body burned on the cross.
Even Rams isn't dumb enough to do that: "I just killed the intelligent and adept Lord Bolton, whom you all pledged loyalty to. He was also Warden of the North and my own father. Now I will flay him and burn his body and place it on a cross. Now go die for me pls!"
I'm fairly sure Ramsay kills Roose, but will make it seem like an accident.

Davos was the best part of that trailer to me but I cannot see how out of the little snippets we've seen of him, how his character is being assassinated by the writers. The only thing I could guess is because of the possibility that his show story line will be different than his book one? I have no idea.

Davos was my favorite part, how can anyone say he's being assassinated? ETA: I do have one complaint though, why is the glorious Michael McElhatton not in focus in that scene with Ramsay?

It does not appear he does want to kill her so the character has been "assassinated". Davos was fantastic in the trailer. It will be great if Davos is fairly prominent throughout the season.

I keep faith that Davos simply doesnt know Mel is responsible....yet. Unless he found off screen which would be worse than what was in finale - davos not asking Mel HOW the hell it happened immediatly after he is told of stannis and shireen

But there are these minor inconsistencies (I probably fucked that word's spelling up) like Arya finding out Tywin's dead in middle of the ocean.

There's only so much of a guy being imprisoned I can take. His Blackwater chapters are good though, and I liked White Harbor because of Wylla Manderly.

How can they know that from a trailer, it's ridiculous. I mean their whole hater behavior is odd.

It does not matter just as long as you are stating how bad everything is. I just went into the Ranting and Rave thread and found when they started to complain about the trailer, it's frankly bizarre and they obviously have the wrong information about a lot of things. Here it is if anyone cares: asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php?/topic/137157-rant-and-rave-without-repercussions-includes-season-6-spoilers/&page=236One thing annoyed me, a person mentioned how Sansa looked too good for someone who had been raped and beaten. What is she suppose to look like?
