Guys the marketing team isn't stupid. I've been taking marketing classes over this past year and they are doing EXACTLY what they're supposed to with something as huge as Game of Thrones. They know what they're doing. lol agreed even tho it would be nice to have a trailer |

It'd be hilarious if GRRM drops a Jon/Mel TWOW chapter spoiling what happens.
He sort of did that with Arya in early 2014 (the TWOW chapter had elements of the show-Polliver scene) and with Sansa in 2015, although that one differed considerably from anything on the show.
Anyhow, a random new TWOW chapter would be a good way to pass the time before the trailer drops.

Given everything that has been going on in HBO lately I'd say its a good bet they have no clue what they're doing lol it is pretty embarrassing that GOT and Veep (to some extent I guess) is the only think HBO has going for itself right now. The Leftovers is amazing and a critical darling but no one actually watches it except for a small niche on the internet True Detective is a pretty popular show. The second season wasn't great, but still. Silicon Valley is great too. |
