I'm not sure if I'm a fan of Bran heading North, especially if he goes on a Frodo mission to defeat the WW with plot devices analagous to Mt. Doom and the ring, which would be pretty stupid IMHO. He barely interacts with anyone as it is, it's going to be even worse if he heads even farther away from civilization. I want to see Bran interact with other known characters again. Maybe he'll interact with White Walkers? I doubt it'll be as simple as The Evil Lord of Dark Lords of Darkness vs Men.

And that origin is all wrapped up in the War between the First Men and the Children, the Long Winter and probably why the Starks are the Kings of Winter in the first place.

I wonder where the story goes with Melisandre, in the books she urged Stannis to go to the Wall , not to help the Watch or to stop the Wildlings, but to stop The Great Other. Not clear in the novel that she is still working on that , nor in the show.

At this point, if Bran interacts with anyone else, it will be through a tree. I never see him going South of the Wall again.

I'm willing to think that it'll be Bran and Ice vs Dany and Fire, with Jon being the negotiator.

Looks like they're working on finishing up the Tower of Joy scene. Luke Roberts did some ADR for it last night. You'll probably have to go to actually tweet o Twitter's website to see the whole thing.

Just reading over the WOTW comments now and I agree with this post that the two boys fighting are in all likelihood Sebastian Croft and Michael Nevin with Fergus Leathem standing between them. My guess is they're playing Young Ned, Benjen and Brandon respectively.
It's possible the white-haired guy visible in the shot is Rickard too. There was a casting call that fit his part anyways and that would seem to fit.

So Brandon will be a teenager, while Ned and Benj are still kids. Seems right.

I think the actor they cast for young Hodor was quite a bit taller and thicker-set than this guy. And I imagine they'd have him dress similarly to adult Hodor as well.

And i imagine Hodor is dressed like this, because he essentially can't afford to get clothes made into his size anymore.

As for the clothes, perhaps this is some pre-Hodor! Hodor and we're going to get an origin scene.

I think it's just that Michael Nevin and Sebastian Croft are short tbh. And I'm fairly sure they ended up aging them all up a bit from the casting calls by two or three years. The kid they cast as young Hodor is significantly older than twelve and Croft and Nevin IIRC are older than the casting call specified too. Also the taller one is dressed more like a Stark than a Stark servant and his face (from what I can discern) looks quite a bit more like this than this. His build also looks more like Leathem's than Coleman's. But we'll see.

Oh the casting call was definitely for Young Hodor. I'm just saying that Fergus Leathem is the one in that particular shot and I think he's playing Brandon, who there wasn't a casting call for. IIRC there wasn't one for young Benjen either of course (or Aeron for that matter along with a few other parts that slipped WOTW's notice). And I have no doubt that Hodor's in that scene too. Just not in that shot.

Just not in that shot. Fergus' age range is 21-27. According to wiki Brandon was only 1 year older than Ned. So they could have changed this for the show, but he looks much, much older than Ned/boys would be in this flashback. If Ned is 12, than Brandon should look 15-16 at the oldest. But it could be him- he might be playing Rodrick Cassel type role. Looking over the boys playing with swords.

It's definitely possible because Jon and Robb were supposed to be 16/17 in S1, but Kit and Richard were both around 24 during filming.

Still, he doesn't look 13-14 :\ The difference is i guess, is that they wanted Robb and Jon to look like young adults, whereas in the flashback they are pre-pubescent. His role is still unknown, he doesn't have to be Brandon. But yeh, who knows He also doesn't look like a Stark at all, and wasn't type-casted as such.
