You can just about see Umber, Karstark and Bolton sigils on horses at :45 if you slow mo it. Plus it looks like the HoBaW body is getting his face cut out, so hopefully they'll be going into that process in more depth.

seems like another Dany heavy promo season. wonder why they feel most comfortable showing Dany's storyline in promos above all else.

It's pretty neat to have confirmation that Bran & co leave the cave. If IrishThrones is right, they will come across white walkers at one point. I like this too. I always thought he'd be stuck there forever. In the books anyway. I guess the show can do whatever it wants. Who knows why they are outside though...hmmm

Meera looks to be in the forest somewhere, no where near the cave. So yeh, it might be confirmation that bran leaves. This surprises me tbh i didn't think bran would leave so soon/ever
Really excited for flashback scene! i let out a squeal.
Also looks like Jorah and Daario both make it to Vaes Dothrak. Dany's storyline generally looks dothraki-heavy. The still with all the dothraki extras looking at something on fire- could dany be with Drogon? Or is she being tested?

Yes, and Bran's horse picture was also in a snowy forest. I wonder why he leaves...why do you think? I think his cave will lose whatever magical protection it has and he'll have to flee south to escape the imminent WW invasion. Bloodraven and his minions will sacrifice themselves to ensure that Bran manages to escape.

Bloodraven and his minions will sacrifice themselves to ensure that Bran manages to escape. This could work. It would also mean Max von Sydow is only needed for one season, which is smart for budget reasons. He must be very expensive. Personally, I think they're running away from the cave, though. Bran finds something shady involving the children and/or Bloodraven and escapes to alert the world. And then they run into white walkers, who may not be the great evil the children make them out to be. That's my theory for now. (The white walker bit is supported by filming info, although we do not know what happens during the encounter).

Bloodraven and his minions will sacrifice themselves to ensure that Bran manages to escape. And I'm inclined to the opposite, there's something far to the north Bran's got to find. I'd guess he remains in the cave early in the season, the visions with Bloodraven take place there but at some point he has a revelation which indicates the final leg of his quest, somewhere in the Land of Always Winter.

That works too.... GRRM said we'll get to see the land of always winter so we need a POV character to take us there. And it'll be like Frodo going to Mordor to destroy the Ring

Ah, someone in the WOTW comments pointed out that this was actually this from the Larne set instead of something from the Snowbowl/Saintfield shoot like I thought at first. Not that that helps us figure out what it might be.

This. If Bran doesn't stay in his cave, then he likely goes much further North as per his dream in AGoT.

It would be great. I have always wanted to know more about the Lands of Always Winter. Maybe Bran is going there to show us the true origins and motivations behind the WW's invasion.

That's Meribald's (unfinished) sept, isn't it? That's what I thought when I saw the set photos but it looks like there's filming being done here rather than construction, doesn't it? Well the original picture surfaced back in August when the outlaws and (I think) Ian McShane were supposed to be shooting, so I always assumed it was Meribald-related. And people said the building had seven sides? But it's weird that it looks like that if they're filming. Dothraki were shooting around the same area so it might be for that but the landscape doesn't fit.

anyone else having issues with loading WOTW today? I know I am. But refreshing the page or going back and then clicking on it again seems to clear it all up. I guess they're getting a few more page-views than they have in a few months now.
