Idk this looks like a sketch on romcoms. And the costumes are kinda ridiculous. The fuzzy sweater. But the red dress, holy fucking shit. Emilia is cute as hell, and her character is called Luisa. And I just want to hear Sam Claflin say Luisa, cause that's my second name. I actually love the ridiculous costumes I don't hate them, they're just the main focus in that trailer for me. But it is good to see Emilia pullling off something else than Dothraki riding clothes or regal dresses.

Well, Lou dresses that way for a reason in the book. It's really important to her character.
I can't believe I just defended a rom com
I can't believe I read the book based on said rom com.

When I read the book, I thought Charles Dance was playing Lou's father and not Will's father, so I spent the entire book picturing him then looked at the cast list when I was finished and realized I was wrong.

I am glad he is playing Will's father, I could not stand Lou's family at all (in the books, maybe the movie makes them a bit kinder). I've read some reviews, which are mixed, but one review says that they are surprised that Jojo Moyes (who wrote the book) left out some crucial plot points in the screenplay.

It wouldn't surprise me if they leave out the reason why Lou dresses the way she does and doesn't like the castle gardens.

Not that this book was great in the first place but they used too many rom com cliches and leaving out a big part of who Lou is was a mistake. And poor Emilia took a page out of Emma Watson's book and acted with her eyebrows.
