Yep, I have faith in HBO. They have way more hits than misses. Will it ever be the golden era of The Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, Rome, SFU, etc again? Probably not. They'll continue to have solid shows though. Yeah. The Sopranos, The Wire and Deadwood are three of the best TV shows ever made. These shows gave HBO the name and the prestige they have today. Sadly, after the very disappointing Vinyl premiere ratings, it may be another year for them with only Game of Thrones being a massive hit. And ROME too. I think George was approached when ROME was still on and he was reluctant to option for fear that it might interfere with ROME one of this favorite shows. |

Just saw the interview on tv. No new info of course but TV's always good when she's on it.
She and Kit , last year, were good sports and really played along well. Carice is really a funny person in appearances and interviews , kind of slightly droll. Hardly ever asked to sing , she has a lovely voice. |

As you said, cool to see her and all, but I also didn't think it was really funny. Tbh, I found the Jon Snow one funnier. Yeah, the one with Jon Snow was better, but I'm still not a huge fan. American TV humor is kinda weird. These late night shows like Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and all rarely make me laugh. They look too forced and unconvincing to me. |
