Haha, this is SO Sophie. Except I don't think she's exaggerating this time about her character finally commanding the respect she deserves.

I'm just saying I don't think she's exaggerating as much this time since she'll be involved with the political intrigue. We haven't seen any footage of her in S6 yet, so we dunno if it will make you cringe again. I'm sorry if that sounded rude.

Lol I realized that after I made the post. It depends on how you look at the writing of her character. Sansa calling Ramsay a Bastard was surprising and her becoming more of player was overshadowed by the fact that she married him, but I think D&D wanted to move her plot forward so that she's in the North when most of the politics in TWoW/S6 happen so that she could finally apply what she learned in King's Landing and in the show's case Winterfell.

I don't think she's lying/exaggerating this time. It seems quite likely that she will be the one to rally the northern lords to the Stark cause, which is a pretty big deal. And didn't Liam Cunningham hype her storyline as well?

I thought Sansa calling Ramsay a "bastard" was inconsistent and stupid writing as in just a couple of scenes before she was terrified of Ramsay and was begging Theon to help her but whatever to each their own I guess. I don't know about the rest because my theories about Book Sansa differ from most.

Unless her plan was to use the corkscrew to defend herself if he did something right there. However, she later used it to pick the lock of the door, so who really knows what was going on in her head.

Since Aeron is in, I think he'll try to use Theon to unseat Urine Euron.

On this day last year, we got our first batch of stills from Season 5 but that probably won't be getting anything from Season 6 today

Sophie has her way of saying things doesn't she, but I think this goes along with how we've speculated the season will go for her. Lots of interaction with Northern Lords and some queenly rallying hopefully.

Haha, this is SO Sophie. Except I don't think she's exaggerating this time about her character finally commanding the respect she deserves. I think at least two Stark siblings will meet S6. Very likely Rickon and Sansa. Possibly Sansa and Jon. Both would be interesting and I am thinking emotional. The Sansa and Jon one would be interesting since they both know things that the other don't know. That could be really interesting.

^It's already confirmed that Jon and Sansa will reunite in S6 because of the scene filmed in the Winterfell courtyard and Snowbowl.

Well I think since Vinyl is a new show, having the first trailer before that premiere would be one of HBO's strategies to bring in more viewers. They did it with True Detective and the GoT S4 Trailer.

And didn't Liam Cunningham hype her storyline as well? Sophie's been VERY hyperbolic in the past interviews about different things, but this seems to gel with the shooting info we've seen this year. Also I'm pretty sure what Podeswa meant about D and D changing things in response to the controversy last year had more to do with giving Sansa's Northern arc an even larger payoff than was initially intended, more so than altering the show's approach to sexual violence generally. And yes, Cunningham mentioned her storyline too, which is encouraging and corroborates to an extent what Sophie's saying here.

Sansa Stark, QUEEN IN THE NORTH. It is coming. It is happening. Bend the knee and kiss the hand, motherfuckers.
