I'd take anything from 4chan with a grain or salt. Or several. But yes, it would be cool if Jon went in that direction.

I'm curious how many locations will be in the opening credits. Obviously The Wall, Winterfell, King's Landing, Braavos, Meereen and Dorne. I'm pretty sure Riverrun, Vaes Dothrak, and Pyke will return and Oldtown is very likely to be added as a new location. And maybe The Eyrie to represent The Vale when LF is meeting with Yohn and Robin. Can't really think of any others, unless they really decide to include Volantis since we'll be seeing it again, but I doubt it.

Maybe Pentos/Volantis will return in season 7 when dany makes her way back to westeros. But if jorah/varys have a scene there. but i doubt it. i think you covered everything there. i wonder if they will change dorne to sunspear.

Has it ever been explained why The Eyrie was excluded from the map in season 4? I know it changed form , tho the top of it didn't. Still I thought the 'places' on the map were for establishing location and the actual forms were schematic, they only need to be recognizable.

If we ever get to see the white walker empire, it would be cool to see the map going beyond the Wall But for season 6, I expect the "fixed" locations to be KL, WF, the Wall and Braavos (until episode 8). I think Vaes Dothrak may stand for the East until episode 5, and then be replaced by Volantis or Meereen, depending on where Dany goes. Pyke will probably be a mid-season thing only and then Riverrun/The Twins can take its spot later in the season. I think Dorne may not appear at all, unless something important goes down there. If the map goes south, I expect it to show Oldtown. Should be cool to see that.

Just thinking out loud here, but I'm beginning to think that the Jaime and Arya scenes from episode 10 that Los Siete Reinos was talking about are two different things.
I think Arya will be in the Riverlands by then since we have the WOTW confirmation that that's where she goes. But I'm starting to think that the "Jaime in Winterfell" theories are not so crazy. All this talk of Jaime's jetpack wouldn't make any sense if all he does is go from King's Landing to the Riverlands. And then there's the fact that he goes somewhere else after Riverrun, but it's too "spoilery" for Sue or Javi to reveal. So I'm leaning towards Winterfell and not just another random place in the Riverlands. It will be Arya or Brienne's job to finish off the Riverlands storyline imo.
As to why Jaime would go Winterfell? Well, he could be sent by the Crown or he could be taken there by force. Any ideas?

I think they can only show six locations max in the title sequence because it would be difficult to pan the camera that many times in the time frame so yeah it could be that they just use Vaes Dothrak for the first 4 episodes and then switch back to Meereen to represent the East after that. That would make room for a new location like Oldtown to show up on the map. I'm pretty sure the finale would be King's Landing, The Wall, Winterfell, Riverrun, Meereen, and Oldtown then, given that Braavos will be gone after 608.

My guess would have been that the forces opposing the Boltons , led by Jon, will win, the whatever battle it is. Seemingly Ramsey escapes? Goes to WF and is pursued by Jon, I guess. At least we seem to have news that a number of characters interact at WF tho not clear how this is framed.

So are the Umbers totally pro-Bolton? This seems weird to me, considering that they have Rickon hidden in basement.

I think this way too, but wasn't there some sources that stated that they'd be with Ramsay til the end? That could've been just speculation on someone's part, now that I think abou tit. IMO it would've been easier if there just was the Umbers with Jon and the Karstarks with Boltons. It would be cool if there actually was a prominently featured house that is actually in cahoots with Roose and Ramsay.

I think it was more speculation than confirmed because we've see a few pictures from filming where there are soldiers holding banners of Northern Houses with the Stark forces and the Umbers weren't present, but I can't see how they would go against Jon, Sansa, and Rickon. Unless they really hate the idea that Jon made peace with the wildlings, which that's possible because they settled in the Gift and it's close to Last Hearth.
