By the way, the show did omit the Valonqar part of the prophecy... In the show there is no reason to think that Jaime will indeed kill Cersei. Just saying. Maybe Tyrion kills her in "self defence"...

There is a million ways for Cersei to die in the show. There is no "valonqar" waiting for show!Cersei, because that word doesn't exist in the context of HBO's Game of Thrones. Even if Jaime is the one to do it, he wouldn't be the valonqar. He would just be Cersei's killer.

Oh I think it's more likely that Jaime will kill Cersei than Sandor. I just took Valonqar as really being any "little brother" not her "little brother", but you're probably right. Though as @kairos said, there hasn't been a reference to it in the show unless somehow they sneak the detail into next season, but I doubt it.

But that whole golden hand fits with the prophecy too well, right? Yup. In the books Tyrion wants to kill Jaime. At least he tells himself so. In the show it's the other way around.

Oh god imagine the purists if they have Tyrion fly over on a dragon just as Cersei is holding a match to a barrel of wildfire and he kills her heroically

I just posted this in the LSH thread, but I don't think y'all go there so I just repost it here: What I'm about to post is just speculation, but still. So, Irish Thrones has alluded to some major deaths in the Riverlands. They also believe in LSH. L7R have bitched about the Riverlands storyline and said that many book readers won't like the ending. What if this isn't about LSH not being in, but instead about LSH actually killing someone, e.g. Jaime? That would be hugely controversial. WIC also wrote an article on that: winteriscoming.net/2015/11/05/season-6-spoilery-slips-major-deaths-and-script-leaks/Yeah, the "controversial" thing has nothing to do with Stoneheart because she's not part of the scenes Javi knows about. I think that's why Javi thinks LS is out. IrishThrones says she's in and WOTW stays mum on the whole thing.

But that again is a book thing, is it not? What I'm arguing here is that what happens in the books is not necessarily what will happen on the show. After S5 we should all know that.

But then after we started hearing about the return of the Tullys and after Michelle was supposedly seen in Belfast, she suddenly became unsure and then eventually she shut up.
