Stark feels “It was the singers who taught the First Men to send messages by raven…but in those days, the birds would speak the words. The trees remember, but men forget, and so now they write the messages on parchment and tie them round the feet of birds who have never shared their skin.”
Old Nan had told him the same story once, Bran remembered, but when he asked Robb if it was true, his brother laughed and asked him if he believed in grumkins too. He wished Robb were with them now. I’d tell him I could fly, but he wouldn’t believe, so I’d have to show him. I bet that he could learn to fly too, him and Arya and Sansa, even baby Rickon and Jon Snow. We could all be ravens and live in Maester Luwin’s rookery."via alayneestone

I cannot listen to the Winterfell/Stark theme without tearing up. I hope Jon kills all the Boltons and LSH kills all the Freys.

I know this will never happen but one of the trades posted an article last week implying that Sansa could have a moment atop a horse rallying Northmen to fight for her/House Stark/Rickon against the Boltons and I've been picturing her giving a heartwarming speech telling them to fight for her father, mother, brother and sister for The North because THE NORTH REMEMBERS and if that happens for real I will LEGIT cry. Like, real tears. I would be crying. I bet it will be Jon tho urgh.

Everything about the Starks makes me feel sad and empty, I'm not kidding when I say that I can't listen to the Winterfell theme without shedding a tear or two, especially at about 1:10, when the heart wrenching part of the songs kicks in.

I started a rewatch. Watching the first episode is soooo sad. It's like a family reunion with all your dead family members.

Pretty much every horrible thing that's going to happen to someone important is foreshadowed in the first two episodes.
