He shot a bit in the summer but I wouldn't be surprised if he shot some more again. I don't remember all of the dates on the actor playing the Frey son's casting call but I think there're some more of those still to go at least. The Frey son's casting call filming dates were the weeks of August 10, August 24, October 12, and October 19.

I think it probably is for another Northern lord since we've gotten a few of those already and that storyline's being built up this year. And him giving a long speech could at least mean he's a Manderly-equivalent for sure, if not the real deal himself. It sounds like a one-off appearance but an impressive one so I'd guess that he's a lord who's castle Sansa stays in briefly while making her way northward and he could give her a variation of "the speech" to assure her of his loyalty. Something like that anyways. There is no castle on the way to Last Hearth from Winterfell, especially with a Lord of a noble house. I guess not. He could be an older Umber too. I mean both are called "a noble house" in casting calls. I would guess Reed but I think the casting call would've mentioned him being "mystical" or something if it was him. Also Reed never struck me as a "realist" and some of the other words they used. I'm not sure. But the theatre troop actors have to film more scenes in November IIRC, so she'll have to shoot again for then, I think. Which could be RL stuff or could be something else. He shot a bit in the summer but I wouldn't be surprised if he shot some more again. I don't remember all of the dates on the actor playing the Frey son's casting call but I think there're some more of those still to go at least. Do we have any info about the scene he did shot? Is it possible it was something big, but set inside the studio? ....like a wedding? I don't think there was any info on what he shot in the summer. I don't even remember when in the summer it was exactly. Maybe @alcasinoroyale recalls?

"Technical hiccup with one of the sets" allowed her to finish filming her scenes faster? The HOBAW set maybe? I guess it's possible they had to schedule all of its scenes quickly for some reason or another. I mean, I doubt we'll see that set again after s6, so if they had to take it down and build something in its place later, that could explain them packing all of the interior scenes there into a tighter schedule.

Still ... seems a bit slim on filming to have any significant things going on in Riverlands so whatever she's up to in finishing out her season's work later in the year has to be that. Everything we saw of Arya was pretty intense stuff happening still in Braavos plus with the confirmed episodes they were shooting, I've given up hope of seeing much of Arya in the Riverlands until the very end of the season. She'll have a lot more to do there next season.

Wonder how many episodes she'll be in since she's almost done?

Yeah he could be Mors or Hother Umber, but I still would like to see Reed or Manderly. I don't remember there being info about what the Frey shot in the summer, but I guess WOTW might have had some small filming news about which actors were on set during the weeks I mentioned above.

I'm new around here but I have to say that I'm very happy to have found this site, and see so many familiar faces (Jack Bauer, Sati, Alcasinoroyale, konradsmith, etc). It's like the old Speculation Thread back in Westeros.org before the Hatewatch Squad took over the site. You were dearly missed. By the way, I have a feeling that this new lord being cast is The Reader. I hope so, he is the only Ironborn (besides Asha and Theon) that I found remotely interesting in the books.

Or maybe that's what she still has left to shoot.

I'm kind of surprised Maisie is almost done? I thought she'd only done a few weeks tops, and a lot of it was action-heavy which would take a bit longer than quiet, interior stuff.

Wonder how many episodes she'll be in since she's almost done? If I had to bet, I would say that about 6/7 episodes.

So I can post them in my thread. Thanks! And yes, "Merrett" Frey still has a lot of shooting to do in October, and then the outlaws film in November, so the Riverlands are far from done.

She was in NI for longer than Sophie was in the summer, I know that. And her week-and-a-half or so in Spain seems to have covered a lot of ground. So I can see how she could've shot most of her stuff by now.
