Interesting that's a lot of episodes to direct hope he can handle it He's a real genius and has a specific look and feel he wants for the entire story, more along the lines of a movie production and not just an episodic series so it makes sense he would want to also direct it even though that's fairly unheard of for most writers. It would be like David and Dan deciding to direct the entire GoT season too. Mr. Robot doesn't have the same high end production needs like GoT (CGI and expensive costumes) so I am going to assume it doesn't take as long to film based on the week to week writing they outlined he does. He already had every episode of season 2 written before even approaching the network about also directing. He's amazing. |

I started watching it today. I really liked. Well acted, good pacing, a lot of intriguing ideas and topics (social alienation, consumerism, utopy, nihilism, digital revolution). I love the fact that it seems real in his approach to the hacking culture. They actually use tools! Not one of Hollywood super graphical interface that you just have to press "HACK" and you are hacker. I'll keep watching and updating my thoughts. So far, highly recommended.

They did a live panel about that topic at SXSW this year btw. Esmail explained how important it was to him that the hacking be represented accurately in the show. They had both hacker and FBI consultants give them feedback and tips in creating a realistic scenario for those parts. It's a really great show that somehow gained a lot of attention and awards but I find not that many people have actually watched it which is odd. I think it's fantastic for the psychology aspects of the characters and of course the twist is great too. Hopefully more people will go into it without spoilers and enjoy it the way I did! Second season is in July so once we get GoT out of our system it will be nice to have something new to watch. |

Second season is in July so once we get GoT out of our system it will be nice to have something new to watch. Rami is an excellent young actor, in fact, all the actors are really good. This show reminds me of The Americas (which is actually an even better show), they are both excellent but don't get the acknowledgement or acclaim with audiences that other shows get. I think what makes this show so appealing is the message, which is on par with what is currently happening in the world right now. It's a collective frustration of the mistreatment of the Lowe classes. That I think resonates with the people who want to listen, sadly, there are a lot of people who would rather be ignorant. When I started watching the show I noticed that the logo for Evil Corp was the same logo that Enron had. So I googled it and apparently the creator did it on purpose, he joked that Enron wouldn't sue them for it, I thought that was funy. |

I LOVED the horror movie music at the beginning. The score has been on point this season.

I finished the first season a few days ago and I really liked it. My two favourite things about this show were probably Rami Malek and Martin Wallström, I love their characters and they both gave outstanding performances. I'm gonna start Season 2 soon.
