1. Daenerys 2. Jon Snow 3. Barristan
Honorable mention goes to Reek/Theon. His ADwD chapters are amazing, some of the best in ASoIaF, but I like the characters I picked more.
I known most people didn't like Dany's ADwD chapters, but her last couple in that book are among my absolute favorites of the series.

1. Reek/Theon 2. Jon 3. Davos
Also Barristan, Victarion and Bran (he's boring but the characters around him, COLDHANDS! BLOODRAVEN!!) deserve an honourable mention. Also Daznak's Pit chapter and WoS.

The only character with a bunch of chapters whose POV was consistently good IMO was Reek. Beyond that in ADWD there were characters who had some very strong moments but also some very dragging chapters. So, even though it was kind of bewildering to only hear from Mel once in the book and Cersei IIRC twice, I'll have to go with this order and besides Reek go with quality over quantity chapter-wise...
Theon Mel Cersei

I've always found Dany's chapters to be highly compelling, perhaps less so in ACOK, because she's a flawed character who wants to do the right thing, but has missteps along the way, just like Stannis. I actually like Meereenese politics and Dany's story in ADWD was easily the most fascinating to me. Having said that, I'm not sure I want Dany to take the Iron Throne, the last thing Westeros needs is more war, and Dany grew up in Essos, that's her home. She'd probably be happiest at the home with the red door.

It's funny, I used to love reading new theories but since I figured that people read them and discuss them primarily because there's no actual text to discuss...and in turn believe them and digest them as though they actually were GrrM's text, I've grown to really fucking hate most of them.

Yup, since she remembers a lemon tree outside of her window and there was a line somewhere about lemon trees not growing in Braavos and probably some other throwaway lines about Braavos being crap for botanics so there's a theory that it was actually in Dorne.

Ah, well I've got mixed feelings about it. Like I said, Westeros doesn't really need another war, but then again the entire world needs her dragons to fight the White Walkers. She can probably do more good in Essos with the issue of slavery, but that's a pretty complicated issue and the economy of Slaver's Bay was turned on its head. She could be a great ruler because she has a good heart, but she still needs to mature a bit politically. It's going to be interesting to see how things play out when she gets to Westeros.

What if the entire world needs the White Walkers to fight the dragons? Tbh that is a convincing theory. But not as convincing as CLEGANEBOWL.

What if the entire world needs the White Walkers to fight the dragons? the world managed just fine for hundreds of years with the dragon-armed targaryens. the world did not do so good the last time the WW were roaming the lands. Dany is not an antagonist.
