• A servant "numb to the horror he serves" cast for 1 episode.

• "Sly" and "hapless" Lame Lothar Frey to appear in meaty one-season arc in scenes with leading characters (3 episodes to be shot the weeks of August 10th/24th and October 12th/19th; one date overlaps with outlaws filming). "Healtor Troop" (possible code name for Freys) to appear in episode 5/6.
• A captain of a tower set to appear in scene with leading cast members in which he is faced with a difficult decision (to shoot for a week beginning on December 2nd).

• Brienne to have intense "thuggish" action scene.

• Arya confirmed to return to the Riverlands at some point after episode 8. Potential connection between the outlaws and the acting troupe.

• A new wildling character set to appear in Episode 7/8.
• A lord in his 50s, Robett Glover, described as "a hard man and a realist", set to appear at the center of a long and powerful sequence to be shot the first 2 weeks of December.

Filming Details
• Filming Locations: Winterfell Set in Moneyglass; Saintfield for the Battle of the Bastards; Garron Point for scenes with Littlefinger, Robin Arryn and Yohn Royce at Royce’s keep in Runestone (July). Royce to shoot again in December.

• Sansa spotted in Winterfell set. Brienne and Podrick seen shooting around the same time (July).

• Littlefinger and horses (Knights of the Vale) spotted in Winterfell set (August).

• Melisandre reported to be involved in secretive scenes. Ghost to feature more prominently this season. Both rumored to play a part in Jon's resurrection.

• A new Lord Commander to be elected.

• Davos and Melisandre to have an argument early on.

• A wildling encampment spotted with Tormund on set (December).

New Cast Members and Characters

• Essie Davis cast as Lady Crane, the charismatic leading actress of a travelling acting troupe. Richard E. Grant cast as grand theatre actor/manager Izembaro, who specializes in drunken aristocrats. The rest of the troupe made up by leading character actor/caricaturist Camello, who uses a strong Northern accent in a play; Clarenzo, a young blond juvenile lead of questionable acting skills; Bianca, a young actress playing Sansa; an actress playing Margaery; and dwarf actor Bobono. Most of the actors expected to appear in 3 episodes to be shot in early September (Girona) and the week of November 6th (Northern Ireland). A smart male theatregoer to appear uttering one line.
• A well-heeled patron to appear in episode 5/6.

• Scene shot in Girona's Arab Baths featuring a major male character, likely Jaqen.

• Arya said to appear in episode 1. Arya to feature less prominently this season.

• The Lhazareen young widow (a member of the Dosh Khaleen) likely to share a scene with Daario and/or Jorah.

• Emilia Clarke, Iain Glen and Michiel Huisman all present in Almería. Director Daniel Sackheim also in the area. Three riders spotted with the residents of (possibly) Vaes Dothrak. Dany seen with Khal Moro around the same area, still wearing her wedding dress.

• Night shoot in Almería reported to include Dany's burning of Vaes Dothrak's sacred temple, a rescue attempt by Jorah and Daario, a gathering of khals and a celebration. A large fight between Dothraki clans (involving 400 extras) also shot. Dany is said to have met Jorah and Daario by the time of the fire.

• Two scenes shot in the Tabernas desert: Dany heading to Vaes Dothrak and Jorah and Daario fighting the Dothraki.

• Destroyed props on set point to a riot or a war.

• Podeswa, Sackheim, Bender and Mylod all confirmed to have shot scenes for this storyline.

• Shae spotted on set with Tyrion and Varys. Another scene confirmed of Unsullied, Tyrion and Varys walking the Meereenese walls while former slaves and masters run in the opposite direction (with possibly Podeswa on set). EPISODE 1: THE RED WOMAN

The Wall: Opening Scene: Sunrise over Castle Black. Jon's body lies dead on the snow. / A man of the Night's Watch closes Jon's eyes. / A troubled Melisandre disrobes and makes a lurid revelation.

King's Landing: Red Keep: Cersei awaits Jaime's ship escorted by the Mountain. She weeps. / Jaime and Cersei meet in private. Cersei worries about decay. Jaime promises vengeance. Sept of Baelor: Septa Unella reads the Seven-Pointed Star to Margaery. The High Sparrow looks down pensively at Margaery.
Dorne: Ellaria and Doran have a conversation.

The North: Sansa and Theon run through a frozen forest. They go into an icy river when they are found by Bolton hunters. Theon tries to distract them but fails. Brienne arrives and kills most of the men. Theon then comes to Podrick's aid and kills a Bolton soldier. Sansa and Brienne forge an alliance. Winterfell: Ramsay looks mournfully at Myranda's corpse. / Ramsay and Roose talk.
Braavos: Blind Arya begs in the streets when the Waif finds her and strikes her.

EPISODE 2: HOME

King's Landing: Red Keep: Cersei and the Mountain order a group of guards to get out of the way. / Cersei comforts Tommen in private. Sept of Baelor: Tommen and Jaime attend Myrcella's funeral. / Jaime threatens the High Sparrow. The High Sparrow tells Jaime that the poor can overthrow an empire. Jaime finds himself surrounded by the Faith Militant.
The Iron Islands: Balon and Yara talk by the fire. / Euron shows his face at the swaying bridge. / A forlorn Yara gazes at the sea.

The North: Sansa asks Brienne about Arya. Winterfell: Ramsay offers to storm Castle Black. Roose and Ramsay are interrupted. Harald Stark is present. / Ramsay stands in the courtyard.

The Wall: Alliser Thorne and his men (including Bowen Marsh, Olly, and Othell Yarwyck) break into dead Jon's chamber. Inside, Davos, Ghost and others prepare to fight the mutineers. / Wun Wun bursts through the gates. / Melisandre tells Davos that her visions were lies. / Melisandre resurrects Jon.
Beyond the Wall: Bran wakes up from a trance by the weirwood. / Bran and the Three-Eyed Raven are transported to Winterfell, where they see young Ned, Benjen, Lyanna and Hodor playing. Rickard Stark and Old Nan are also present. / Meera sits by the snow.
Braavos: Blind Arya trains with the Waif in the streets. The Waif turns into Jaqen.
Meereen: Tyrion pours the wine back into the bottle as Varys, Missandei and Grey Worm look on. Tyrion warns against keeping the dragons in captivity. / Tyrion visits the dragons in the catacombs.

EPISODE 3: OATHBREAKER

King's Landing: Red Keep: Cersei tells Qyburn she wishes to hear the plans of her enemies. Jaime and the Mountain are present. / Kevan and Pycelle attend a small council meeting. / Qyburn addresses a group of children in his laboratory. Sept of Baelor: The High Sparrow is interrupted in his prayers. Tommen confronts him.

The Reach: A storm rages at sea. Sam is seasick as he sails south with Gilly.
Winterfell: Smalljon Umber brings a gift for Ramsay.
The Wall: Jon rises. Davos looks surprised. / The wildlings look at Jon in awe.

Beyond the Wall: Bran and the Three-Eyed Raven are transported to the Tower of Joy in a vision. Ned Stark and his companions draw their swords. Wielding two swords, Arthur Dayne fights several northerners outside the castle before embarking on a one-on-one duel with Ned Stark. Dayne is finally struck down by Howland Reed, who attacks him from behind. The Three-Eyed Raven looks on with sadness. / The Three-Eyed Raven describes the nature of the past.
Braavos: The Waif strikes Arya in the House of Black and White. / Arya trains with the Waif. / Jaqen tells Arya that if she is truly No One, she has nothing to fear. Arya regains her sight.
Vaes Dothrak: Dany and the khalasar approach Vaes Dothrak. She gazes at the massive horse statues and is greeted by Khal Moro. / Dany is stripped bare by the Dosh Khaleen.
Meereen: Varys finds an answer. / Tyrion sits in the small council alongside Missandei and Grey Worm.

EPISODE 4: BOOK OF THE STRANGER

King's Landing: Red Keep: Cersei confronts Olenna and Kevan. / Tommen and Pycelle talk. / Cersei and Tommen talk in private. Sept of Baelor: The High Sparrow reaches out to Margaery. / Margaery comforts Loras in his cell.
The Iron Islands: Theon returns on a ship. / Yara recriminates Theon.
The Vale & The North: Runestone: Littlefinger meets with Yohn Royce and Robin Arryn. Winterfell: Ramsay cleans his knife.
The Wall: Sansa and Brienne arrive to Castle Black. / Tormund sits outside. / Dolorous Edd talks to his brothers. Ramsay declares Winterfell to be his and invites Jon to "come and see". / Sansa talks to Jon.
Vaes Dothrak: Jorah and Daario approach Vaes Dothrak. / Jorah and Daario hide as they seek ways to infiltrate Vaes Dothrak. / Dany takes a walk with one of the Dosh Khaleen. The widow is taken aback by a stranger. / A gathering of khals takes place. EPISODE 9: BATTLE OF THE BASTARDS

The North: The Gift: Davos stands before a pyre. / Sansa and Jon talk. / Jon asks Melisandre not to bring him back. / Tormund tells Davos he was wrong about Mance. Winterfell: Ramsay asks a boy if he likes games. / Jon Stark, Davos, the Mormonts, the Hornwoods, the Mazins, Wun Wun, Tormund and the wildlings face Ramsay, the Boltons, the Karstarks and the Umbers in a major winter battle, a.k.a. Snowbowl or the Battle of Six Armies. Ramsay displays six bodies upside down on Bolton crosses, burning during the battle. / The wildlings charge the men with Bolton shields. / Walls of dead bodies block the Stark loyalists. / Sansa and Littlefinger ride to the battlefield. / Wun Wun breaks through the gates and the people inside fight him off. EPISODE 10: THE WINDS OF WINTER

Oldtown: Sam talks to a maester.

The Twins: Walder Frey hosts a great feast with Lannister soldiers cheering on. Jaime and Arya are present.
Winterfell: A white bird flies over Winterfell. / Jon and Sansa have a private conversation. / Littlefinger meets Sansa in the Godswood. / Davos tells Melisandre to confess what she did. Jon looks on. / Wyman Manderly declares his political allegiance in the presence of other northern lords.
Beyond the Wall: Bran rides through a snowy forest. / Bran sees the truth about Lyanna.
Meereen: Dany and Daario talk. / Tyrion tells Dany that she is in the great game now.
