Eh, Iain Glen has the best voice on the show. That's the old fart on the show I find hot. *thinks about it* One of 'em. The way he says "Bloody madman" about Thoros of Myr.

Nooo, how did no one notice I got my Ian's mixed up? I meant Barristan Selmy. He's a...GILF? I didn't realize my mistake until I listed to Konrad's recording and wondered why his voice was so harsh and gravelly. Barristan's is smooth.

Not your best. Nooo, how did no one notice I got my Ian's mixed up? I meant Barristan Selmy. He's a...GILF? I knew that Glen didn't say "bloody madman". But I thought you'd just mixed the lines up so I didn't point it out so as to not seem like too much of a weenie.

Sounds pretty damn clear that that Shireen's sacrifice is book Stannis fate too.

Eh, Iain Glen has the best voice on the show. I like to listen to his voice, but IMO it's not near the level of Charles Dance and Michael McElhatton. When they speak, you just have to listen.

HBO UK (didn't realise that was even a thing) are apparently 'celebrating' the DVD release with a Hardhome rewatch? With a load of British 'celebrities' even I haven't heard of? Over twitter I think?
I don't know, it doesn't seem to be at a place so I think you just watch it and go on twitter. Is this a thing people do a lot? Are you meant to buy the DVD and then watch the 8th episode straight away and then go on twitter and then read the opinions of the 'famous' people about it as you watch. Which will almost certainly just be 'wow Tyrion and Daenerys* meeting so cool' and 'yeah I fucking hate Thenns yeah!' and 'holy shit Nights King damn'. I've already spent too much time thinking about the point of this.
*Edit: Sorry, Khaleesi.

I came here to ask if anyone knows these 'celebrities' but if someone from the UK doesn't know them, I guess I don't have to either.

Although tbf this did end up being an actual screening so my rant was pointless.

Just watched all the history and lore videos, those are probably the best one's yet. Especially that 20 minute Dance of Dragons segment. It is amazing! Pretty cool they got so much of the cast to do the voice overs. Too bad they didn't use Emilia for that one, but at least they got Harry Lloyd to represent the Targaryens.

It was great hearing some of the past performer for the show. I do miss Jack Gleeson, the Joffrey portions were great. It was full Joffrey and just reminded how great a job he did.

One of the featurettes from the DVD/Blu Ray release: GRRM discussing with historians some of the real life people and historical events that have inspired him when writing his series.

The Dance of the Dragons lore video on the BluRay was pretty amazing, I just finished watching it. And I love that they had deceased characters narrate it, especially Catelyn. It was so fitting that she narrated the segment about Queen Helaena. "The grief and rage of losing a child could burn down the world."

One of the Season 5 Blu Ray extras! Anatomy of an Episode: Mother's Mercy. A behind the scenes of Arya killing Meryn Trant, Stannis' downfall, Myrcella's death, Sansa and Theon's escape, Walk of Shame and For The Watch. Very entertaining!
