Arya playing Cersei in Izembaro's play? Yes please. Awesome!! I can't believe how quickly they're moving on all of Arya's stuff... Maisie must be exhausted, LOL. I'm going to guess that goofy hat is just to shade her from the sun while costuming and makeup do their thing and not actually part of her Sansa costume.  |

It looks like a Cersei dress to me... but yeah, the hat's just for shade because either way she's gonna have to wear a wig. |

Right, I always say Sansa because that's the popular guess from the play but a lot of us think it was supposed to be Shei who she was playing. Cersei would be weirder for Arya to play but who knows. |

Well it's either Maisie or the leading actress from the casting calls. Something also tells me that Maisie wouldn't be that tall from this angle, but who knows.

And yeah, if they're smart they should definitely remove the portrayal of rape from the play, especially after last season.

In case anyone missed yesterday's set updates in Girona (didn't post it here) ... Arya and The Waif are filming some sort of rooftop chase through Braavos. Details here: watchersonthewall.com/maisie-williams-and-faye-marsay-film-action-sequence-in-girona/Tons of photos, videos etc. of the stunts and extras on the set.   There were also some shots of the Izembaro theater stage but I think we've already posted those here. Today we get shots of more scenes being filmed in Girona including what looks like Arya in a costume for the theater, but more intriguing is the update with this spoilery shot:  Fans taking photos swear the shields have the rose of Tyrell on them, so this is more evidence that parts of Girona are active for King's Landing filming, plus hints that Natalie Dormer may be there as well to support speculation on her trial. This week we have gotten a TON of photos and videos in Girona. I haven't posted as much here since we've already spammed quite a bit of the Girona stuff and plot discussions are ongoing in the speculation thread. Once we get a new set / location filming start (Tarly/Horn Hill at the castle for example) We'll get some new photos for our album here. |

At first I thought this was Unsullied training. Long spears in Westeros would not be usual though more Esos style , a style in Westeros we have not seen before. On the show the Unsullied seem to carry short swords but seem to never use them. |

People on-site said they were Tyrell shields being used, which haven't shown up that extensively in the show yet. So if it was extras for Unsullied scenes practising I doubt they'd be using newly-manufactured shields like I'm pretty sure these are. Like in previous years they'd be using old prop shields to practise. Plus of course it's doubtful from what we've heard that any Meereen scenes will be shot in Girona, while we have heard that there will be Tyrell soldier scenes shot there.

Ah! Much better/clearer shot to confirm that Tyrell rose! I think it was confusing that they were all standing in ranks with spears which seems more Unsullied like, but to me, this indicates more of an 'army' than it does guards ... and that's pretty spoilery a clue if you ask me what's going to happen in King's Landing next season, woohoo! Also, I love this one of the extras hanging out on the top of this wall. Being an extra is long, hard work. I got the rare chance to be one once in an MTV series $5 Cover done in Memphis. I was a rollergirl extra (and also one in RL) for a film they used a fight scene in and we were in our skates on the rink for 6 long hours for one short 30 second clip of us all rushing off the bench. I was never so thankful to take my skates off after that LOL. I appreciate all the enthusiasm from the Spain filming extras, they all have smiles on their faces and happy to be there!   |
