Jack Bender ins the Castell of Santa Florentina today. So I guess we can assume that we'll see the place in episode 5 or 6 right? That castle is so freaking amazing. I have no idea what it's going to be used for either. It doesn't fit that many of the castle descriptions I remember, but I'll confess I'm not very well versed on all of the Westeros castles in ASOIAF other than the main big houses. It seems very ornate and exotic architecture for most of the more rural 'houses' of Westeros. I don't remember Horn Hill being that spectacular but of course everyone's got Tarly front and center in their brains right now. What other great noble house could this impressive castle belong to in Westeros ... Highgarden? Well... Javi from Los 7 Reinos was there today, apparently he has meet Jack Bender and just tweeted some minutes ago that the castell is spectacular and that they know what they are going to film there. I guess we will have an article about it in a few hours. Damn, Javi is doing a really amazing job reporting this year filming. |

That castle is propably for many different places. yeah I could see them using the exterior entryway for horses riding up into the castle, pretty impressive. Then using the interior for somewhere else, and the courtyards, etc for something else. A lot of potential there, just like they're using Girona for multiple locations too. |

This was kind of my thoughts as well. That castle looks pretty rich for any of the smaller houses to own and if they're going to use it's exterior in full (and why wouldn't they, it's gorgeous) then it would probably be one of the bigger houses. Horn Hill isn't a big castle is it? I guess I should read up on the Tarly's more tbh. The Tyrells are definitely going to need more presence in s6 and it would be awesome if they openly oppose the Sparrows (and the throne too in a way) by calling their own banners. |

Do you think that's behind the same green curtain as the video of Arya jumping from a roof? Looks to be same location and props. It really looked like men in armor on the steps from that longer distance shot. I don't see anyone in armor in this one though they could just be off screen at the moment.

(That one from WotW yesterday) SO much stuff rolling in now from Girona we're all searching madly for new photos! Keep them rolling in here on set stuff. I love collecting curious photos from the various sets and locations! I figured Girona would be very spoiler heavy, but at least it's keeping us somewhat occupied during this long off-season because if there were no leaks, I think at least half of the fandom would go insane, including myself. |
