China is usually worth another 100 million ... which really skews the box office these days. |

WB actually owns the rights to all that crap connected to the movie so they will make tons of money on merchandise alone. Also I hear the Soundtrack is #1 in charts
Batfleck needs to shut this whole shitshow down, though - lock Snyder in a cage, tell the execs to fuck off and let him do the movie the way he wants and confiscate Jared's butt plugs, condoms, rats and whatever other crap he carries around. Tht Jared is a God doesn't mean he should be running around like one - Ayer didn't direct him at all. Just pointed the camera at him and let him do God knows how many takes of one scene and experiment.

Also I hear the Soundtrack is #1 in charts Yeah, never really hear about the take on the merchandising for studios , suppose I could look it up somewhere? Apparently that's the core thing that made Disney a zillionaire. Lucas latched on to that back with the first Star Wars film, catching Mel Brooks eye. Noticeable that Thrones has a good deal of that stuff for sale, I don't think HBO pushes it like others do , but maybe they are learning. Edit: I wonder if the cast gets a take on that? I wonder how many take a percent instead of a salary? Sandra Bullock took a percentage to make Gravity and made 70 million buckaroos , not bad. |

Just Guess will have to see what the final boxoffice take is Looks close to 500 million world wide now. I don't think the 875 million for BvS hurt Warner's bottom line! So if SS gets near that would think a sequel of 'side' film will get made. Question is will Warner stop goofing around? Would Jared come back for another film if conditions were right? Will Margot get her 'Harley' film made? Be interesting to see what the cast and director have to say in a few months about what happened , nobody is going to complain as long as the money is rolling in. The man is so sad I swear to God I'm this close to showering him with dozens of tweets with my rant of how mistreated and disrespected he was and how we all appreciate him. Margot is definitely getting her Harley movie, following their suit of giving one character that people liked getting their solo (like Batfleck). Jared, even though he is not super wealthy, doesn't give a crap there and if he is talking like this at the beginning of this...his record company tried to screw him over a few years back and he fearlessly made a documentary about this. They tried to stop him from releasing it but he didn't back down. He is in there talking of a heartless, greedy, bloated corporation, calling them "fucking morons", that they will have to suck his "proverbial dick" etc. It would be so delicious if he secretively made a doc od this but he only found out how much they screwed him during the week of release. I imagine, if he is really talking to his fans during Camp Mars about disappointment 10 days after the release of the film, he will have plenty to say to the press very soon. And press is coming - his new album is out next year. And he will talk even more if he doesn't return to DCEU. WB screwed over someone who doesn't need them and doesn't need to be silent. You just don't screw over people like that. At this point it's in WB interest to keep him so he doesn't trash them (which he should do). Or release the footage that was cut because right now we can imagine it's awesome and intense, if they release it I'm sure there will still be plenty people who will say Leto sucked |

I wonder if we might get a Deadshot solo too? Doesn't seem like much story there really, but Will Smith was another generally well liked part of Suicide Squad so i suppose it's possible.

I would be shocked if a Harley film doesn't include the Joker. My guess since SS kind of goes over her origins, it will be post SS. Leto might need like final script approval or a lot of reassurances from the director/producers of any future films that what he agrees to actually happens...but I think WB would be smart to keep him aboard and do what they have to do to keep him. |

I will be curious to see if SS will get the 'Xtra' cut treatment. I would buy that. I buy Blu Rays for the extras because , unless they have changed, Netflix and Amazon rentals never did the extra's , maybe they are now? Seems Vudu does this?
Loved the Peter Jackson Middle Earth film DvDs cause they had scads and scads of extras along with an extended cut.
Wish GoT had more extras than HBO usually puts.

I wonder, are we supposed to assume that a new bomb was placed in Harley's neck when she got back to Belle Vue? It would seem pretty illogical not to. But then the ending of SS would end with a KABOOM shot and Harley dead I guess
