Dorne was great, because it was unintentionally hilarious. Bad dialogue, bad acting, bad fight choreography, stupid plot...worst part of this season, and that is saying something considering how bad I found the latter half of the season Odd. I found this to be the best 10 hours of television I've ever seen and I watch a lot of tv. Dorne included.

Are the other shows you're watching Real Housewives of wherever or something? No need for that, we all have different opinions. I watch everything on HBO, Netflix originals, Showtime, Starz, FX, and some network stuff like Hannibal, Gotham, The Last Ship, etc. I know you hated the season, but some of us enjoyed it.

Also maybe less TV and more fresh air would do you good. Just a thought.

Why didn't Jaime command the ship to turn back when Myrcella was being poisoned? That propably happened. Note that only few seconds after her dying Ellaria and SS left. And first he has to check if she really died. God. We have to wait 10 months to find out: - What is the aftermath of FTW? - What happened to Stannis? (Apart from dying offscreen...) - What happens with Dany? - What will happen in Dorne? - What will the Boltons do? - What happens with Theon and Sansa? FUCK! I HATE BEING UNSULLIED ONCE AGAIN!!!

You don't need to wait, let me take a shot here: - What is the aftermath of FTW? Mel presses her boobs to Jon's face and the Lord wakes him up - What happened to Stannis? (Apart from dying offscreen...) - the dogs rape his corpse because D&D don't like him which is an understatement - What happens with Dany? She is liften in the air and worshiped by her new khalasar because fuck yeah - What will happen in Dorne? Bad pussy and the posse will continue to play slap game and expose themselves - What will the Boltons do? They are invincible. They will become the heroes who can defeat WW - What happens with Theon and Sansa? Theon rescues Sansa a bunch more times because she is helpless and he is a man even without a dick

Stannis - Whoever claims that D&D don't dislike him is a liar. Dany - Typical show logic. I could see this happening Dorne - Oh god. Boltons - Good. As long as Ramsay dies, I'm ok. Theon & Sansa - Or they both die from the fall.

Why didn't Jaime command the ship to turn back when Myrcella was being poisoned? We don't know what Jaime did after the initial shock. I also think that the scene with Ellaria on the dock probably happened just before Myrcella died. Ellaria was exposed to the poison before Myrcella was and so would probably show symptoms earlier. Ellaria has more mass than Myrcella and possibly more poison tolerance, but she probably had to apply that lipstick before they got out onto the dock to avoid detection. So when Ellaria stared out at the boat slowly sailing away, that was probably before Myrcella started bleeding. We just don't know what happened after. But Jaime can't go back and dock in Dorne - the Lannister's only leverage once the Trystane / Myrcella marriage is off the table is that they have Trystane as a hostage. Even if Doran was completely honest in everything he said to Jaime, there is no way he'd consent to sending Trystane to Kings Landing in light of the new circumstances. And Jaime doesn't know if Ellaria was acting alone or if she had Doran's permission. Going back might just mean they all die. It isn't as if he has the manpower to go kill Ellaria.

They couldn't turn the boat around, get back to the dock, murder Ellaria and sand snakes, and get back on the boat before Hotah arrived with guards. And Ellaria and sand snakes probably wouldn't just stand there for half and hour while the boat turned around and sailed back. Grats on snark!

Yeah it makes no sense to turn back. They would only make themselves the second and third victims in the now inevitable Lannister-Martell war at worst, hostages at best. Even if Doran was as understanding as he's been shown to be, finding and killing Ellaria+SS and recovering Trystane wouldn't prevent war. He'd have to keep hold of Jaime and Bronn. Sailing back into enemy territory would be stupid.

Jaime's best bet is to take Trystane back to KL as hostage and demand Dorne answer for their crime against the king's sister. Ellaria just started a war between them so we'll need to find out what Doran intends to do about it. He did tell Ellaria she would not get a third chance so I fully expect he'll execute her or worse, send her to King's Landing to be executed. He doesn't want war with the Lannisters, he wants to take the throne and Trystane was his key pawn in that move so now what's Dorne going to do?

Just speculating here but I'm not so sure Ellaria being executed will stop the war. Cersei is down now but she's not out yet. She can still manipulate Tommen if Kevan buys the farm in the next eps like he did in the books. On the other hand Kevan still alive with Varys in Meereen, might just make this a non issue. It is tough being just a show watcher with source knowledge all screwed up! )
