I really dunno. Other than likely beginning in Meereen and ending in Castle Black, I have no idea what the sequencing of events in the episode will be. I feel like after the opening in Meereen (or maybe also Dany's first scene) KL should fit in. The Walk is big, but it's kinda more Stannis-charge big than, say, Tyrion-Tywin privy scene big.

I also don't understand why the finale wasn't a little extended like previous years. It seems like some scenes might be rushed. Yeah I don't see why they couldn't have 5 extra minutes.

I doubt they made it shorter on purpose. That's just how it ended up after editing and so on. And the season in general is still the second longest, even if the finale is the second shortest.

To add to the conversation on the last page, I do think Olly will be the one to cry. If Thorne is involved, he'll likely be the leader of the men saying "for the watch", if anybody says it at all.

Made Sansa one more colorful 'cause it's pretty Sorry I'm late for the discussion and it left onto other topics without me, but I'm quoting Sati's photo again to say how beautiful she looks and also, I thought those might be fish on the clasps but they look like wings instead? “Some septa trained you well. You’re like one of those birds from the Summer Isles, aren’t you? A pretty little talking bird, repeating all the pretty little words they taught you to recite.” - Sandor Clegane.

I once read a theory that Sansa will end up the Master (or Mistress?) of Whisperers for some monarch and her network would be a network of actual birds that she would warg. 99% crackpot, but I think it would be pretty awesome?

If I were a warg, it would be birds I chose - like how Orell had an eagle - because that would be so awesome to fly above the world! Yeah it's a crackpot theory but Sansa has lost Lady so if she were ever to show any ability to warg at all, she would need to find a new companion. Birds would fit so well with Gregor's "Little Bird" imagery many of us loved as symbolism in the books.

To me it looks like fruits from a maple tree. But where is the connection between Sansa and maple trees?

I was actually kind of thinking that too - remembering those "helicopter thingies" that fell from the Maple trees at my grandma's house (awww nostalgia moment) ... They do look like that as well and maybe just nothing, no connection or easter egg - though they have been known to sneak them in on costumes before!

Maybe they're suppose to be fruit of weirwood? Weirwood always reminded me of a Westerosi form of red maple.

I admit, it wouldnt be as big, but it might be a bit more of a closing shot than Jon passing out. Imagine the camera panning out as thousands if Dothraki start bowing to Dany. Something like that. Im thinking along the lines of Arya heading to Braavos, Dany embracing her people and the watch heading North. I get the series may end on an unoptomistic point. But HBO, or D&D, love those ending shots of big open areas with main characters looking ahead to the future.

Dany returning to Meereen with a Khalasar at her heels would be epic but I do not think they have time or budget for that and it won't occur until opening next season to begin her new 'chapter' in life. FTW is definitely going to be the ending I think. What a depressing season overall haha.

Also a lot of the Spain locations WOTW says they've been scouting for s6 look like they'll be Dothraki Sea stuff, so I think they are committing to whatever Dothraki arc she's up for in TWOW.

They're either those maple tree thingys or maybe a more claspy version of her dragonfly necklace? Either way:

Me right now It's gonna be a dreadful wait of 42/43 weeks. You could always rewatch the series from the beginning. 1 episode a week and then by the time you reach Season 5, Season 6 should be a few weeks away.

Me right now Aye, but there's only a month until that lovely, lovely TWOW-spoiling s6 production info starts coming in...

I just remembered that Ramsay himself told Sansa about Jon's election. Interesting little foreshadowing moment if the Pink Letter makes it into the show.
