Emmy submissions?

Oh yeah, they even have "proof". When GRRM says that he misses character X on the show or that he would have done Y differently, it is actually him telling us how much he hates the show.

I've managed to wean myself off the urge to go over there and lurk and be baffled at the vitriol that is spewed on a regular basis by the same individuals. I've finally come to realize it's just a private playground of hate for a select few while the vast majority of fans have either been scared off by their aggressiveness or just don't give a shit in between seasons. Those who remain, and claim they hate the show are obsessing on it. If you could follow their posts it would be sad to see just how little they actually contribute to the reading sections or 'real' ASOIAF as they consider it. As you said in another post ... they continue to watch, they even use show images as their avatars, but they hate it. It's bizarre behavior, really. If you hate the goddamn show that much stop posting in the show section and stick to the book purist forums, why is that so difficult? I don't get it and I gave up trying a long time ago. When the good folks here taught me the true colors of the person(s) who own the site was the moment I stopped caring about that over there. It is sadly pointless to support a community that is encouraged by narcissistic hypocrites who have benefited immensely from the popularity of the show to support their site and merchandise/books but bite the hand that feeds them. Fuck them.

It's not about agreeing or disagreeing, I just find it hilarious how they list all of these things, but their explanation for why they happened is "for no fucking reason"

I think they've reached the point of insanity already.

Don't worry. It's not THAT they disagree with some of us on certain things that pisses people off about the rant and ravers. It's HOW they disagree with others. And you're not like them at all.
