But it implies that something happens after that. If you end it exactly where the books do, a khalasar shows up and then fade to black. They would be telling you exactly what the last seconds of her entire season is right in the synopsis (highly unlikely).

Yeah Dany flies to the Dothraki sea. I guesses very wrong on that one.
But like I said on another thread, I can only think of the Lady. I had given up hope but D&D are really playing with us, and this time it is a very direct joke if she's not in (but she will be! I have to believe)

I get the point, it dragged on and on in the book too with no real outcome that we know of - but happily they've neatly fast forwarded quite a few of the storylines to eliminate some of that dragginess so I'm hoping they finally wrap this mess up because I'm getting tired of it now. I'm sick of Melisandre and Stannis after the decision to burn Shireen. It won't matter in the bigger picture and that's disheartening and makes Shireen's death pointless.
I just want the Winterfell battle to happen, not leave on another cliffhanger until next season. ugh.
