So let's dissect "The Wars to Come": 0:00-0:36 Stark theme 0:37-1:34 Stannis theme 1:35-2:07 ???? 2:08-2:37 Stannis theme 2:38-3:15 Brienne's theme 3:16-4:11 Bolton theme 4:12-4:47 Stannis theme Any ideas for that third one? It reminds me a bit of Littlefinger's theme, but I'm not sure. It sounds to me like another variation on the Stannis one tbh.

I'd hate to see Littlefinger playing a part in this battle, especially if he actually defeats the victor

Mother's Mercy sounds like Cersei, but isn't Atonement the perfect song for her walk?

Where are the tracks for Varys, Dany's scene and FTW? This is so odd, usually we get all the important tracks from the finale on the score

Though I hope it is, I just don't see how it could fit. For Dany they'll probably reuse some s1 Dothraki score or one of her finale tracks from s1 and s2. For FTW I have no idea. Some have suggested "Throne for the Game" but that track's name doesn't suit the Ides at all. That'll more likely just play over 510's end credits.

Really no Varys? Seems a bit odd given that they brought Kevan back just for that and Varys has been gone for about 6 episodes now.

Dany has two songs; blood of the dragon and dance of dragons.
Dance of dragons covers her whole time in Daznak's pit and i think blood of the dragon was used for her other stuff.
Throne for the game is the last song, because its listed last on the soundtrack. That's usually canon for the show.

BotD was used as end credits in ep. 2 and the duration of TftG suggests it's end credits song for finale.

I kinda hope they don't kill Kevan yet because he should be given more screentime. I'd love to see him being a boss next season.

Listened to the whole thing now and I really think the soundtracks get better every year. Atonement leading into I Dreamt I Was Old is stunning.
Am I correct in thinking we haven't heard the second half of Before the Old Gods yet? Would be perfect for a certain confession leading into an escape. Didn't expect to get that scene at all.

Huh. I could have sworn it was Matt Berninger singing on "Throne for the Game", but apparently it's some guy called "Bradley Carter"

Just made a compilation with all variations of the Bolton theme:
I suck at making and editing videos and I don't know how to remove dialogue, so in the last track I had to keep Ramsay's voice ;-|
