I sent a message to Sue from WOTW about Lollys and Balon 5.10 as listed in IMDB 5.10 casting. Keep you posted. WOTW Response (nothing here really unfortunately): -------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Watchers On the Wall <watchersonthewallcontact@gmail.com> Date: Thu, May 21, 2015 at 11:39 AM Subject: Re: Message from WotW Reader Cc: watchersonthewallblog@gmail.com
Lollys on the casting breakdown sheet they send out to agencies was stated to be only a one-episode role but that could've changed after filming began. Elizabeth Cadwallader's agency resume doesn't confirm a later season appearance, it only mentions the director of her first (only?) appearance. Sometimes actors' CV/resumes will only list their first director, not all of them. But right now there is no other confirmation of the actress appearing. So who knows. It's just IMDB randomness, no way to tell if it's valid or not.
Similar deal with Patrick Malahide, we don't really know and there's no confirmation. (I confirmed Yara a couple weeks ago, that may be why Balon is suddenly on IMDB.) I could go digging for sources, but frankly, the episodes are going to air in a couple weeks, so I'm not bothered with it. I'd rather just wait and see. Hey, so Yara is confirmed? Did not know that. Do we know for many episodes?

Jon getting stabbed is a massive deal so I think that certainly qualifies. The Red Wedding was a huge deal on the internet and it's not like the book fans didn't know that was coming.

I guess it depends on whether her needing a Dothraki entourage when she comes to Westeros is a big deal or not. I have my doubts that they are but we'll see. I imagine the show will actually have Dany return to Meereen with Drogon and announce her intention to sail to Westeros. There is no battle of Meereen on the show, Daznak's is the climax of that confrontation so there's no reason for her to dick around by herself in the Dothraki sea. They absolutely need to throw the audience a bone and let her finish the season up by saying "I'm coming to Westeros".

I think she will burn things in episode 9, and in the 10th she will announce her intention to leave ASAP, and let someone in charge of Meereen (Hizdahhr? Missandei?)

No, that's probably not necessary. But her last scene of the season? They should absolutely do that.

I'm ok with Dany's storyline ending like that, but the whole season? I bet there would be anticlimatic close-up to her face and after that: "I am sailing to Westeros."

I bet there would be anticlimatic close-up to her face and after that: "I am sailing to Westeros." To be fair, Dany deciding to make her move on Westeros is a pretty huge deal and something that fans of the show and books have been waiting for for a long time. Could they come up with bigger cliffhangers from other storylines? Probably Jon's, depending on how they have it play out. A surprise appearance by LSH (which isn't happening but hypothetically)? Sure. But that's about it. The epilogue in ADwD is only a great cliffhanger if you make the characters being murdered different than the books because I guarantee the audience won't really give a shit about Kevan and Pycelle getting taken out so you can't end your season that way. I think the final scene will be Jon but if they plan on having Dany get to the point where she declares her intention to come to Westeros in S6, that's going to be very close to the end of the episode.

I have never understood this argument. The thing about ADwD Epilogue is not about whether you care about Kevan, it is about the impact his death causes and Varys' monologue. But I doubt it will be the final scene. For the Watch.

Is it confirmed that we will see Stannis in episode 10?
We could have Sansa & Theon escaping in 9 and then we won't hear from them anymore in the final. Purple letter might also inspire the "For the Watch" on the show. Why else would the NW suddenly backstab Jon?
FTW will be the last scene, with Olly stabbing him first, then Alliser and then someone else. Jon will fall in the ground and say Ghost.. and roll his eyes like a warg.

I don't really know why there are doubts of the Dothraki sea when we have this: Unless you think she'll hang out there for a bit and then return to Meereen later in the episode? I don't know if I buy that. If Dany ends up in the Dothraki Sea in episode 10, I expect she'll stay there.

In the books, Dany has to be sidelined in the Dothraki sea while a bunch of stuff happens in Meereen with Selmy and then the Battle of Meereen, none of which is occurring on the show.
Drogon will certainly be taking her to his "spot" and that's where we will open the episode. I have a hard time believing she won't end up back in Meereen in order to make her declaration by the end of the episode. There needs to be a satisfying end to her arc this season and they seem to be clearing the decks for her to be able to start her Westeros trek.

This is getting too hilarious.
Imdb says Joseph Mawle (Benjen) in 5.10 now.

This is getting too hilarious. Imdb says Joseph Mawle (Benjen) in 5.10 now. Yeah there have been like 17 threads on Reddit about that this past week. They should really consider scrapping this whole "anyone can edit anything anywhere" thing.

FTW will be the last scene, with Olly stabbing him first, then Alliser and then someone else. Jon will fall in the ground and say Ghost.. and roll his eyes like a warg. I think he is. He'll have his talk with Theon and "Who is coming? Bolton?" "Lord Ramsay", Theon hissed. "The son, not the father. You must not let him take him. Roose... Roose is safe within the walls of Winterfell with his fat new wife. Ramsay is coming." "Ramsay Snow, you mean. The Bastard." "Never call him that!" Spittle sprayed from Theon's lips. "Ramsay Bolton, not Ramsay Snow, never Snow, never, you have to remember his name, or he will hurt you." "He is welcome to try. Whatever name he goes by." "I defeated your uncle Victarion and his Iron Fleet off Fair Isle, the first time your father crowned himself. I held Storm's End against the power of the Reach for a year, and took Dragonstone from the Targaryens. I smashed Mance Rayder at the Wall, though he had twenty times my numbers. Tell me, turncloak, what battles has the Bastard of Bolton ever won that I should fear him?" "You do not know him." "No more than he knows me."
