What do you think? The endings of the last 4 seasons - Daenerys; White Walkers/Sam; Daenerys; Arya

I voted Dany (fire-ice-fire-ice-fire etc), but I really have no clue. Who'd have guessed White Saviour would close out season 3 or Arya going to Braavos would close out season 4?
It could be anyone.

I wonder if D&D hear the outrage of the last two years - people still laugh about that crowd surfing. The worst thing is that there are so many moments that would make far better endings but they didn't choose them in season 3 and 4 For me the season ending should be at least in top 3 endings of the season and imho neither of the last 3 years accomplished that. The only thing that never fails is the score. I think it will be Dany, making it Dany finale every two years and that scene will mirror the first season finale nicely.

Yeah, I agree with you there. My feelings are that D&D tend to avoid "OMFG" cliffhanger moments, which is another reason why I'm a little hesitant on them ending on FTW. I think Dany's vision quest - or whatever mangled version of it we get - would be more in line with the last couple of closing scenes we've had.
But, like I said, they really could end on anyone. Probably not Arya though, because I can't see them ending on someone twice in a row (watch them end on Arya again).

I went with Jon. At first, I thought "for the watch" wasn't going to happen yet, but the way everything else is moving along, I think it might be. It would be shocking. I'm assuming Dany's Drogon flight will be somewhere in episode 9. I actually wouldn't complain if they did end on Dany this year because of The Dothraki. I thought that was really cool in the books, but they end on her too often in the show.

Yeah they end on her a lot, but I figured she flies in ep. 9 and then shows up in ep.10 last scene, which I think was also her only scene in season 3 finale

I think it's going to be Cersei. Interesting, what scene? We know walk of shame happens in finale, but I imagine it's gonna be near the opening

Yeah I think it's really between: 1. Dany's vision quest and the Dothraki (Based on endings of past four seasons, ending on Dany would follow Fire, Ice, Fire, Ice, Fire) 2. Varys killing Kevan and Pycelle, Snowfall in KL (Possibility, but might be second-to-last scene and then transition to The Wall) 3. For the Watch, Jon's eyes turning white. (I feel this would be the better ending) 4. Reveal of Aegon (unlikely at this point)

Reveal of Aegon (unlikely at this point) At first I was hesitant if they would do the eyes turning white thing....BUT is there really a point of leaving it a total cliffhanger? No way they could hide Kit from all the promo stuff and filming and the theory that he is brought back is so popular. The better way to do this would be to have the actual For the Watch scene before the episode that glimmer of hope happens

I think the season ending will be a toss up between Jon or Dany. I would like to lean towards something with Jon, but given the way the show does seem to prefer Dany's dragons over the direwolves as it is, and the ending could be something with Dany flying Drogon out on the Dothraki Sea or something......I lean more towards Dany.

I had a hard time choosing because I definitely think it will be either Jon or Dany, but ultimately I picked Dany.

Khaleesi arriving in King's Landing from the sky and being carried by the smallfolk all the way to the Iron Throne. CROWDSURFING 2015 EDITION ^^ Maybe it's her flying and the snow is falling from the sky or something? They did mention that winter is coming big time this season

I'm going with Dany. However, it 's a toss up between her and Jon.

I voted for "somebody else". Going with Ian Gelder as Kevan Lannister. But that would fall under Varys, no? Unless you don't think he's dying this season? EDIT: I also LOVE that polls on this software tell you what place each option is

EDIT: I also LOVE that polls on this software tell you what place each option is The question is "Who will be featured in the final scene in season 5?" So, my answer could have been indeed the spider or Kevan. And I think he'll be kicking the bucket.
