EDIT: It's been pointed out elsewhere but this isn't just for Stannis; there are three deer in the picture. The stag is Stannis, the doe further away is Selyse and the wee fawn in the background is Shireen. So, no, the Beautiful Death artist DID NOT ignore Shireen in the end. Oh God dammit    |

Mance Ryder for his death and not really being used to his full potential
Barristan Selmy, dying for Tyrion to do his job
Shireen Baratheon
Selyse Baratheon
Stannis Baratheon, who deserved a better storyline as well
Myrcella Baratheon, who did not deserve it. No offense to Nell Tiger Free but why recast her for minimal scenes and a death scene?
Jon is not mentioned because I think he will be back. The show lost some good actors this season, notably Ciaran Hinds, Stephen Dillane and Kerry Ingram.
NCW definitely confirmed Myrcella is dead. D&D indicate that Cersei's fury is supposedly going to focus on Tyrion for this one since he was the one who sent Myrcella to Dorne.

So, I rewatched the season, and I must say, Stannis fans are right. His story did tank way too quickly. He still went out (or not, don't beat me) like a boss.
