Yeah and then she back-tracked a bit as if she'd revealed something she shouldn't have. She said something like, "She has to stay alive for her brothers' sakes...if they're alive, that is, because of course she doesn't know that they might be... " Exactly. The tell tale sign here that she really does have something to do with her brothers coming up isn't so much the backtrack, but the fact Sophie is aware Rickon actually exists. She had to have been re-informed somehow. lol, people forgetting Rickon exists is one of my favorite things.

TV guide has the episode summaries listed and as always, they're basically identical but with a word or two changed here or there.
Their E8 summary says: Arya makes progress in her training; Sansa meets an old friend; Jon takes to the road; Cersei's troubles pile up.
It's the same as the original ones but instead of Sansa "confronts" an old friend, she "meets" an old friend. Not that different and I suspect both descriptions are true but it doesn't sound like LF falls into this category anymore. Best bet is that it's Pod (or possibly Brienne). It looks like Pod is the one going into Winterfell undercover as the previous episode has Brienne waiting patiently for a sign (presumably from Pod).

Yeah, agreed. I think they first ride to Eastwatch, where Sam leaves for Oldtown and Jon borrows Stannis's ships. Then Jon & Tormund & co. go to Hardhome.

The White Walker crashing of the Hardhome party should be pretty awesome.

Even when the episode has aired, I'm sure you'll still think it's only a matter of time

Pod is cool, but he's just a pointless sidekick who doesn't have a lot of purpose to the story. Let him help Sansa and pay the ultimate sacrifice

BTW - will Emilia also be skipping this episode? That would mean she would only be in 7 episodes this season, which doesn't make much sense since she was in 8 episodes in Season 2 and they only adapted 4 of her chapters where as this season they would adapt about 7 or so. Though, I also doubt that her wedding to Hizdahr and Daznak's Pit would be in separate episodes. She might have a scene with Missandei since there have been interviews where Nathalie has said that Missandei and Dany become much closer this season.

Also, she might have the wheel speech then. Thinking about it, i don't see how that would fit into episode 9, with everything else going on.

I've got it at 75% that Edd doesn't make it out of Hardhome alive. It would seem strange that the White Walkers make an appearance and everyone just gets away with no consequence. And we know Jon and Tormund make it out. Edd (one of Jon's last true allies at the Wall) dying there would up the danger level of the Hardhome sequence and also clear the decks for the FTW moment in the finale.

Can't believe Hardhome is next week already! Are we certain we're going to see the NK?

Can't believe Hardhome is next week already! Are we certain we're going to see the NK? I guess the NK himself isn't 100% confirmed but the Walkers will definitely be there so it's hard to imagine he won't be part of it.
