Oh for fucks sake, the Sand Snakes appear in this one. If it makes anyone feel better it's just one scene ^^ How long does that dreadful scene take? Will we see Doran in this episode? (literally the only interesting thing in Dorne atm)

Is 504 as good as 503? I read on here after the leaks someone said 504 seems like a very different episode compared to the rest.

It's the shortest episode of the series, but it definitely is a strong episode minus the intro to the Sand Snakes. The ending is intense though, even though I was extremely surprised they would do something like that so early.

It just seems cartoonish and cheesy. Idk if it was the writing or the acting, but it was pretty bad. However, since it was only a 4 minute scene, I guess we can't really judge them yet.

So GET HYPE! I've re-watched this one now about 25 times, and am already considering giving this episode a 9 or 10, just for this scene's sake, lol (the first three were all an 8 for me). ...I'm a terrible biased person....

@jack, but seriously, knowing you, I'm sure you will enjoy it - just as you enjoyed the whole season so far. The episode includes much history / background stories, which is quite nice!
ETA: Plus very cool fight scenes!

Henwick and Laurenti Sellers aren't given anything to do really, but KCH gives a little speech and does a good job with the material such as it is. I'm sure they'll all be fleshed out more later.
I think 506 is when they'll come into their own as characters.

For me the only annoying one was ironically Obara who is played by Oscar nominated actress her whole 'my father pointed a spear' speech was so badly delivered

Was not this episode originally called THE Sons of Harpy? What happened to the THE?
I mean this is better.

It's odd the quick quick short short blurb for E4, Sons of the Harpy had no mention of Dany, odd.

Wanted Dorne in this season , and I guess, not much Dorne until E5 and after?

Just yet re-watched the episode (I know, I know, I'm a bad person...), and I think now it might be actually my favourite one of the first four so far. Because of the above said reasons (this certain praised scene, history lessons, the fight scenes), but also much more, like the Jaime/Bronn bromance, Bronn's humour (dolphins ^^), Jaime's look when he saw Tarth, his golden hand trick; Cersei finally feels again more like Cersei, I enjoyed her in 5.04 much more than in 5.03; as I said, all the talk about Rhaegar and Lyanna, Dany was adorable during Barry's stories of her brother; poor Tommen and the Militant Faith, liked Tommen/Marg and Tommen/Cersei much more here; The Small Council meeting, Pryce as HS; Tyrion/Jorah scenes; and most importantly: Stannis/Shireen, aso...
Of course, there's was also some pretty lame stuff, but that was rather cheesy and/or cringe-worthy than really bad, like The Sand Snakes, Mel/Jon, and the cliche portrayal of the Faith
But overall very good, IMO. Most controversial is definitely going to be The death of Barristan

I hope this isn't spoiler-y (If it is, I'll edit my posts), but what I really liked about the episode is that it has a good mixture of funny/hilarious scenes, emotional/moving scenes and exciting/thrilling ones, IMO (... and cheesy/cringe-worthy ones, but every ep. has its flaws).

I think the delay on the Dornish stuff in this season has to do with them really wanting Jaime to be the audience entry point for the kingdom but they obviously have to wait for him to get down there and start bouncing off the new characters. So, expect for a couple brief introductory scenes, the bulk of the story in Dorne will be about Jaime finding out what's going on. He'll infiltrate their land, get into a fight with the Sandsnakes and Areo so they can demonstrate their physical abilities, he and Bronn will have scenes talking to them to better understand their characters and motivations, he'll talk to Myrcella in order to understand her dynamic with Trystane and then he'll talk with Doran so that we learn more about the overall Dornish plan. It seems to be by design.
