Daznak isn't for 6 weeks, but probably. Whether people are a fan of Dany or not, I have a feeling it will be one of the best scenes of the show.

It's not much different with the direwolves. Ghost is obviously the coolest, biggest, and (I think) most loved one. Daznak's Pit will undoubtedly be taking the top spot imo. Narrowly edging out Dracarys!, and the hatching.

^ You're right, no question. I have to say I'm actually excited to see Drogon in action there. I love those dragons!

Season 2 Episode 9 was Blackwater and I didn't see much before buzz about it. I did detect some buzz about season 4 episode 9 but not as much as I expected. More afterwards. There are enough sullied book readers out there who sort of Bally book stuff. Curious to see what this one generates since it's not a battle and not quite the blood wreck of the RW ... something quite exotic. Wonder about season 6 , what E9?, a question for the philosophers.

Maybe King's Landing goes boom? Or maybe it'll be the episode Dany takes the city? I expect her to sit the IT at least briefly so it will probably happen late S6/early S7.

I've always had a dream she rides all the way to the wall on Drogon ... how long would a flight like that take ... no info on google maps! I enjoyed the IGN roundup - thanks! It reminded me that one of my favorite scenes was that one in the tent where she's casually stroking Drogon's head while the slaver is there nearly pooping his pants and of course she lets them be her intimidating watch dogs and snarl in their most dragon-like way. That was classic. I really didn't have high hopes for the dragon CGI going into the show but it's actually turned out to be some of the best I've seen. Certainly 10 times better than the horrible 80's skeletons and Children of the Forest scene and most everything of the white walkers makes me cringe.

Lol that Jason and the Argonauts scene with those horrible WW skeleton things, and then Leaf with her Mario fireballs was hands down the worst scene of the series.

Lol that Jason and the Argonauts scene with those horrible WW skeleton things, and then Leaf with her Mario fireballs was hands down the worst scene of the series. Right! I mean, c'mon, I'm a huge fan of those movies (it reminded me of one of my childhood favs 'Legend') but those were made back in the mid 1980's ... geez guys wtf were you thinking on those skeletons and fireballs?! It's odd how amazingly good the effects are on the dragons compared to the rest of the special effects. It's almost like they have entirely different companies (maybe they do) or teams on them. Like, "Ok guys, big budget A-team for the dragons cos'... dragons... everybody else on the B-team gets to do ugly zombie white walkers and skeletons.... derp."

The WW's look great. Don't know what show you're watching.
Also, The Children of the Forest scene is one of my favs of all time.

That's because they're not CGI--they're real dragons. (I want to believe!) dragon2

I think the WWs look fine. My only issue with their appearance is that they aren't beautiful like they are in the books

The CGI and effects themselves are not bad it's just the choice to make them look like old dried up corpses that mystifies and annoys me. GRRM is very descriptive about how they look so it's baffling the direction they went with their looks on the show. The dragons however. Spot on.

Kind of suprised you can even defend it with a straight face. The skeleton WW were bad enough, but Leaf throwing fireballs was unforgivable. Completely ridiculous scene.

All my Unsullied friends loved it. When I went to the IMAX Experience it was even better then I remembered.
