Last year was a bloodbath so place your bets people! (No leaks pls)They were really scraping to get enough characters to look aesthetically pleasing huh? Ghost? Please, his death would involve actual screentime. If the Wall falls, they wouldn't just kill off everyone who was there immediately would they? That would mean Edd, Beric and Tormund in one go. I couldn't handle that I'm pretty confident Littlefinger and the Mountain are gonna go. There's gotta be some casualties in King's Landing surely, but I can't think who. As for Theon, he looks in the promo like he's failed at something. And that guy behind him looks like he's drawing his sword. Is he maybe gonna be betrayed by the Ironborn for a second time? Well those who are still at the Wall are in different locations so at least some of them ought to be safe. Since the Army of the Dead has been said to be approaching Eastwatch all season, it seems like Tormund and Beric should be the two in most danger there. End is still at Castle Black no? I didn't realize Tormund was back at the Wall. He can't die! At least not before he gets some sweet lovin' from Brienne. I'm fairly confident Littlefinger's time is up. Beyond that I got no clue. Pretty sure Jon, Dany, Sansa, Arya, and Tyrion are safe. Bran, too, at least until he has a chance to tell Jon about Rhaegar and Lyanna. Samwell, too, for similar reasons. Cersei will die, but probably not till sometime next season. Yeah I hope Littlefinger's time is up. He's been a big sack of nothingburger all season and his continued presence is pulling the show down imo. Just cut him now and end the stupid. Other than that I hope we see the Ironborn. I love Gemma Whalen and she has just been wasted in this show, always underused. I'll be pissed if she dies this episode without getting her time in the spotlight. Euron can go die though. I find him so tiresome and uninteresting.

Anyone know where the Dragonpit is being located in the show? It doesn't look like it's inside the city itself, is that right?

It's probably posted somewhere else on here but HBO released that the finale is called The Dragon and the Wolf.

Been odd this season as to why the writers of an episode have not, usually, been reveled until showing. Benioff and Weiss said at SXSW they wrote 5 episodes , Cogman and Hill wrote one apiece. For a little while Wikipedia had Geroge Martin writing The Dragon and the Wolf but they took that off.

If I can find it again, GRRM did an interview with Metro where he said he has not had time to watch the show this season. I do think he gets a standard ask every season to write an episode, but he has not done one since season 3 or 4, right?

A curious feature of the preview is the set up for a battle, but after the last two episodes it does not seem in the cards thee will be a land battle. I don't know why Dany has not burned Euron's fleet, taking proper precautions about the Dragons. That's twice now when she seemed to think they were invulnerable. After all one of the original three got killed by projectile, maybe she does not know that history?

Seems after season 4 when he said he would not write any more episodes, so he could finish WoW, he said he was still involved with the 'advising', I think he even said he watched season 5. After that I can't tell if he even looked at the teleplays for season 6 , much less season 7. I don't know if anyone has asked him about show involvement as of right now, he has made his standard 'the show is the show and the books are the books' several times. There may be info in Not A Blog I have not been able to read. There has been a vague idea floated that he deliberately does not want to publish WoW before season 8.

Last year was a bloodbath so place your bets people! (No leaks pls)It's weird about Beric, spoiler was he is supposed be dead! But is not, does he appear in next episode? I guess Meera is off screen until next season? Be weird if she never appear again. Odd that Edd has had one brief scene, in fact that's it for CB , tho I probably is in next episode. I thought we might have a brief scene in with Mel in Essos, but looks like not, back next season. Ghost!, Ghost might as well be dead! Gezz.

Dany+Jon is a foregone conclusion at this point. We've had Ollie levels of foreshadowing and signposting all season. It is what it is. (I also think it's coming in the books eventually, damnit, but oh well as long as it happens organically) But I think the episode title will no doubt have multiple meanings/interpretations, as they sometimes do.Jon and Dany, Jon Stark/Targaryen ancestry, Rhaegar and Lyanna (Presuming Sam returns next episode?). We can always hope for other stuff too from the actual dragons and/or UnViserion. (We could also hope for scenes with Ghost but hahahahahahaha nope). Jaime yelling at Cersei Interesting, I wonder what for? I'm not sure what could plausibly set him against her at this point so I'm interested to see where they go with this Rhaegar looked so beautiful that day. That will never get old I hate what they've done with Bran but I love the hilarious line and the memes stonerBran has spawned

I think I(and others) have used the phrase "it is what it is" more in the last six weeks than we have in our entire lives Sigh
