What do you mean by fantasy-moderate? If it's what I think you mean, GoT has never been that, and even less so in this premiere. Dragons, huge shambling undead armies, face-changing, people changing to stone, 1000ft wall of ice, people going into trances to see afar/the future, people skinchanging into animals, emerging unscathed from the flames, shadow babies...hardly lacking in fantastical elements. A lot of people seem eager to say it's not heavy on fantasy, but that's incorrect imo. And seems motivated by a continued reluctance by mainstream to embrace the idea of liking fantasy It does seem more fantasy heavy than GRRM set out to do , or said he set out to do. It sure is not as industrial strength fantasy as Harry Potter or .... I would say... as heavy as Lord of the Rings. Why would you say that though? I just listed a selection of fantasy elements present in the series - it's obviously just as, if not more, fantasy heavy as LOTR |

Have to say in ways it is similar to LToR , sub Sauron for the Others ... and like that .... Having no Wizards or Elves with magic ... having magic that sometime works and sometime not. So to my eyes that is Fantasy-Moderate. (GRRM was , initially, not going to have dragons at all.) |

I had not looked in so long , not for season 6, I did not know Linda was still doing reviews.
The is a 7.1 review.
I do have wonder what she thinks she is doing at this late date.
I have never heard her remark on the shows popularity, maybe she just broods about it?!
Same sour grapes as has been the case for 5 years now, Elio opted out a long time ago, not sure why she watches now , just to bitch? It is not working, for a long time now.
She seems to live in her own world.
