Moana would make a great musical some day. Lin Manuel Miranda wrote the musical numbers and they are good!
This is my favorite :
Jermaine Clement from Flight of the Concords sings it and it's terrific.
Dwayne Johnson does a pretty good job singing "You' re Welcome" as well.

I don't even think she's capable of giving the mediocre performance she used to give on that Victorious show. I didn't like Amanda Bynes' singing voice in the last Hairspray movie either. Acting wise she nailed her but I wish they would've dubbed her singing voice and I never say that lol |

Really enjoyed Hairspray Live! I wasn't like super into Ariana Grande's take on Penny, but she didn't bother me too much, and everyone else was phenomenal. Especially Kristin Chenoweth, obviously, she was born to play Velma. The guy who played Seaweed was great, too. It was cool that they ended the show with Come So Far, Got So Far to Go. That's a really nice song and it was only ever used in the movie, I think. i was obsessed with Hairspray when i saw it as a 14 year old girl. You can probably imagine why...  Then i look back on that choice and i think....why?!? |
