Virginia Cody! I suspected she might show up before the end and I was right! Also holding out the probably naive hope we'll see Mark and Gracie before the end... Complete aside, poor Ari Miller. He clearly isn't comfortable in interviews. Was watching the cast do promo stuff and he never seems comfortable at them

This season is my favourite so far. Thrilling storyline, tremendous acting and camera work, great character development (still! 5 seasons in and they still manage to build the characters so well). This episode really hammered home the battle against the patriarchy that the cast spoke about in the promo interviews. No pussyfooting about either, just straight up hammering home the I AM A WOMAN AND I WILL NOT LET A MAN MANIPULATE MY BODY ANYMORE! I loved it. Enough with subtlety, given the high stakes Cosima was facing that made total sense. Also, Cophine. Oh my. In their old fashioned outfits they looked like a couple about to get married. Wishful thinking... Krystal is back next week!

This season has been so good. Brie and Krystal were amazing and the Revivalscenes were so tense. RIP Susan and Ira Gracie is back next week!

Will be v. disappointed if we don't get a Kay-Bee YouTube channel popping up soon.
I don't know how they manage to make Krystal's OTT hilarity fit into the show. But they manage it flawlessly every time. "Is she even necessary? She's just like, so rude, every time."

Why am I talking to myself in here boo you all A Rachel centric episode and it was absolutely fantastic. The flashbacks were insightful and the present day stuff showed a very understandable change in Rachel's alliances. Also loved seeing what happened in the house to give Rachel that look we saw in the first episode - PT "released her." Leaving aside the huge problems of people believing they could "own" her anyway, it's obvious why this means so much to Rachel, and really does a great job of explaining her transformation this season The final scene almost gagged. Ewwwwww. Alison's new hair and attitude is hilarious. Donnie, as ever, providing little gold mines with his lines; "Liver deep?" Mark and Gracie are back, I'm very happy we should get closure on them. I hope poor Helena is safe though

OK, I am caught up! stoneheartsrevenge Will probably watch tonight's episode on Monday! Just when I thought I hated Rachel, turns out I didn't. The last episode was terrific. God Tatiana does what no one else on TV does, she is so fantastic. When Rachel yanked her own eye out...wow. Giving Kira back to Sarah...I had tears in my eyes. I don't know what this means for Rachel going forward, I suspect Westmoreland will have her killed now. I absolutely loved the return of Krystal (beating that cosmetics guy who sold to Dyad!) and how long do you think the new Allison will last? Susan and Ira...sobs. Virginia is back, when I saw her at the mental hospital, I was like "AW SNAP!" Helena, you in danger gurl. It was a great 4 episodes to watch in two days!

Ast weeks episode was my favourite, it was up there with the episode where Kendal died last year. Rachel was the star, obviously, but it was full of other beautiful moments, like Donnie and Alison, and Cosima reuniting with her nerds. Loved it. I agree with you btw, Westmoreland will wand Rachel killed. I suspect Mr. Frontenac will be the one sent to do the deed...whether he succeeds is another matter. The guy who played creepy cosmetic dude was Tom Cullen, who is Tat's real life boyfriend. That was a fun cameo So happy Gracie, Mark and Virginia are back. This should be brilliant. hoping for a Helena focus this week. Each clone seems to be getting an episode focused on them... i would totally watch a miniseries with the adventures of Adele, Felix and Delphine in Switzerland btw

As much as I will miss the show and Miss Maslany's incredible performances week after week (HOW IS SHE NOT A MAJOR MOVIE STAR YET?), I think they did do the right thing and end after season 5. I thought that was Tom Cullen!!!! He and Tatiana are an adorable couple by the way. I was watching that scene and thinking that has to be Tom Cullen. I would watch that miniseries too. I do agree that last week's episode was right up there with the Kendal dying episode last year. We are overdue for a Helena focus episode.

Ok i've had some time to process now. Fuck but that was sad. Her death wasn't surprising given the way the episode progressed. But it was predictable in a good way, sort of 'yes, the show has built up to this, it is totally in keeping with Siobahn's character, and it doesn't feel like cheap *SHOCK* value.' There were some really well written lines too. I liked S' line to Rachel - “We do what we can, each of us, in our own way. Chipping at the devil till he’s done.” because its so relevant right now. Cosima and Delphine hitting upload together was so beautiful i cried. Poor Gracie I love Helena. Who would have thought back in Season one and two that Helena would take in Gracie as family despite her betrayal, and that the show woild culminate with the sestras uniting to rescue Helena? Awesome.

Awesome. Me last night: You are right, the way the episode progressed, S's death felt natural but not for shock value. When she said, "Chickens" and dropped the picture, I was done. Glad she took out Ferdinand before she died. They showed her writing a letter and crying, so I hope Sarah and Felix will find it. You know Sarah and Felix will be on the war path now. Helena is just awesome, I loved how she considered Gracie her family despite her betrayal (and poor Gracie, that's what she gets for trying to save mark's life). The scene where Cosima and Delphine did the upload was such a good scene, I was teary eyed there too. They've been hitting all the right marks this season. What a terrific final season so far! Love that seestras will try save Helena and her babies.

Just one episode left...I am not ready for this to end. Another fantastic episode though, they have really finished on a superb season. Helena's flashbacks were great, and I especially loved her reaction to her first kill. Makes total sense that no matter how brainwashed she was by Tomas, she would have an emotional reaction to see 'herself' and killing 'herself.' Mark's death was moving Coady was a monster yes, but there was a streak of a loving mother in there still. Her devotion to John/Westmoreland may have won out in the end, but the loving way she interacted with him at the end made the scene a real success. Helena's near suicide was genuinely afraid she would die. But what a badass ending when she took out Coady... I can't wait for the finale, though at the same time I don't want to watch it because then it's all over

I was geniunely afraid for Helena. I was like, show don't do it!
Cody's death happened so fast, I had to rewind. Damn Helena!
Her flashbacks were terrific. Mark's death was moving. Did he know that Gracie died before he died?

Did he know that Gracie died before he died? No he didn't. Helena isn't out of the woods yet. In danger for the finale, I think are: Sarah, Helena and the bebbes, Art, Scott, maybe Hellwizard. I think the others are safe, barring some last minute twist of fate. Of course, PT and Engers are toast.

And the show ends on a high. Great writing all around, loved the decision to show these strong women kick the ass of this mediocre man so quickly and instead focus the episode on the aftermath. Phenomenal work by Tatiana in the birthing scene (and I loved playing that out alongside the flashback...it also makes total sense to me that Sarah almost had an abortion). Such wonderful writing to see how much Sarah struggles to cope with living in S's house, how she almost fears settling down to the normal everyday life. She is so used to running or fighting that she has never had to face putting down roots and having something stable. It was great to see her struggling with that. Rachel's end was pretty sad. The villain of several seasons, but we know her past, why she is the way she is, and ultimately I sympathise with her, and she did do the right thing in the end. Only, now she is alone, totally and utterly. She doesn't even have a fellow villainous sociopath (Ferdinand) to cosy up with Oh my Helena called the bebies Arthur and Donnie Oh, my heart, my little bleeding heart. Speaking of which, Kevin Hanchard was freaking awesome this episode. Hats off to him, for standing out even alongside Tats in the birthing scene. And I'm so happy we got a Donnie striptease while Alison learns keyboard I half expected Cal to show back up, but ultimately I am glad he didn't. He isn't part of the sestrahood, not really. Everyone who mattered (and was still alive...) was there. Also let's just take a minute to comprehend that Tatiana played 6 clones in this episode, plus a flashback version of Sarah which required different acting again. And one of those clones spoke Spanish with a Colombian dialect. And not once did I think to myself - she's slipped and these characters are blurring together. Even 5 seasons in, it still amazes me that all of these characters are portrayed by the same actress.
