The Mooch may have the shortest tenure ever but it is going to be very memorable.

A Chronicle of Wars following the death of King Robert the First.
Archmaester- "What you do not like the title? What will you call it then?" Sam- "Possibly something a bit more poetic?" AM- "We're not poets, Tarly."

There is still plenty of awful that will be passed but right now will enjoy this amazing show of total incompetence.
Amazing job from greatest and best negotiator. You can not get this result unless have some amazing skills.

Very happy to see that the Blu-ray will be out by November. It will be in time for the holidays, finally, and I will be able to clear my DVR space sooner.
Very pleased the History and Lore will once again be fairly deep. Looking forward to Meera's telling of the Tourney at Harrenhall and Jaime's narrative of Robert's Rebellion.
Commentaries are well represented. This be Sophie's first one without Maisie or Issac. Disappointed Issac will not be on one.
Looking forward to this one.

All of this is true. But it's still no reason to not trust Jon. And no reason to hide things from him. Unlike all those people you mentioned (other than Lysa and she was batshit) he is her family. And even if Sansa has cynical view of things now he has no reason to hurt her. So why lie to him? The lying though is understandable. But the haughty attitude towards Davaos....it is just making the character unlikable. Even if what she knows is him leaving Stannis the man still has far more experience than her. And she schools him about North. North is changed. And he has been in the North far longer than her and him and Stannis did try to get other lords to join so they do know the situation. It's the writers mistaking arrogance for empowerment. They think people will cheer at Sansa being rude and giving lectures but they overplayed their hand. It didn't help that it was Brienne who demonized Stannis like that, so she probably install Sansa with this belief that makes her uncomfortable towards Davos and Mel. Having to rely on Stannis twice and him failing twice will also give a not so favorable view as well.

I'll be optimistic and say that perhaps the lackluster revelation of R+L=J means that we will get Jon's father next season, i.e. Rhaegar Targaryen will actually appear in person! I am thinking the samething. We will see in casting but you will have season focus on Ice and next season will be on fire. With Dany coming over to Westeros will add to that.

No eagles, but that was alright, I guess. Philly was a little tired so the ATL handle this one.

What? But I saw your opinion on the episode and understood your points. It's still a positive rating. I thought everything outside of the battle was excellent, I just didn't enjoy the battle itself, and it was the centerpiece of the episode. The moment with the Bolton soldiers making a wall of shields was awesome, though. And interestingly, it was the most simple part of the battle, all they needed to film that were extras and props. That was the only real moment of the battle that had dramatic weight to me. I'm glad everybody else enjoyed it, though. Guys come on. Let people vote what they want I'm surprised it took as long as it did for somebody to bring it up. The last thing I want to see is bickering over ratings. Still, would of been awesome to see the rating be 10+ but can not get everything, as this season is showing.

On Rickon
The character is very young and would of been even if the 5 year jump happen. His Direwolf being called Shaggydog meant the character as a whole may not mean much beside being the youngest Stark Male. I know people bring up how Martin loves to subvert but, for me, any subvert in the books will be using fantasy that the show have not done.
With the show, his reappearance is based on a betrayal by one of the Stark's most loyal houses. He will also not be seen again until the upcoming episode so it has been set up for a simple shock.
