2. Children of the Forest created White Walkers Sorry for the late reply, but didn't GRMM repeatedly insist that the WW/Others don't have a human origin, so this spoiler wouldn't be apply the same for the book? The Children of the Frest creating the WW/Others won't be it for the book? IIRC he said that (when someone asked him about the Others if they're dead or not-he said they're alive but also->) there is some unhuman beauty(?) in them. And that's not exactly the same as saying they've got no connection with human. I try to find quote next time and update this post but remember that George almost never releases spoilers like that so we should be carefull with interpretation.

Brilliant! We all love Lyanna Sorry for the late reply, but didn't GRMM repeatedly insist that the WW/Others don't have a human origin, so this spoiler wouldn't be apply the same for the book? The Children of the Frest creating the WW/Others won't be it for the book? I had never heard that before, do you have a link? Trying to look for the one. But most pages include the hardcore Asoiaf fans stated this. Well GRMM confirmed Benjen isn't Coldhand in the book. So it wouldn't be off for GRMM to confirmed that the Others don't have a human origin (or so we interpreted). Also, since the show has no choice but to make Benjen as Coldhand, not going to be surprise that it's going to be different for the Others' origin in the book.

Quote (we're both got this one in mind, right?): I don't remember Martin's confirmed anything about this yet and Benjen-Coldhands issue has been clarified years ago and they decided to mix those characters anyway, but I don't think that this one example is enough to draw conclusions to every other case. I always thought CotF created the Others, but in some indirect way, by accident. In show they're direcly responsible for that and it makes sense. Some connection between men, CotF and the Others is almost intuitive. Back to the point: is it a spoiler? I would say yes, maybe details will be different, I hope we'll find it soon ( The Winds of Winter to the rescue!).

I think maybe the truth will still be the same in the book, indirectly like you stated. But, I believe the spoiler will have more details. The show explained that the CotF created the WW due to their war with the Andals, but they only include few elements of the history from the book. Like the show omit the part where Bran dreamed and saw a sacrifice being play is what implies to be the worshipers of the Old Gods practiced human sacrifice. So maybe this part of is one of the result of the Others' creation? Who knows, but we all know that while the show's reasoning is simple, the book's will be more complex due to said history.

We'll also probably read in great detail about what the Children of the Forest were eating just before they created the Others.

My BR/Bran quote didn't make it, how disappointing *sob* Some good ones there though, I like the Cersei ones most

I voted It is beautiful beneath the sea. But if you stay too long you will drown." "I wasn't drowning. I was home." I thought it may have been more popular actually. I was also considering the past is already writ quote

I was also considering the past is already writ quote It's a lovely quote. People chose so many good ones, I'm shocked it was lucky enough there were some that were voted for more than once, that Arya quote had a solid lead above others but everything else was pretty close

The Queen of Thorns has a worthy successor: the Queen of Burns! And I'm sure this was not the last category Bella Ramsey totally owned...

Meh you can keep Arya's and Cersei's quote. I'm keeping Sansa's and Brother Ray's quotes all to myself.
