I assume that Arya drank from the pool to heal herself. I wish they'd have cut 30 seconds from the drinking game to show how Arya survived. I wonder if Jaqen needs Arya to keep her identity for a mission. I wonder if he sent the Waif to kill Arya so that the Waif could use Arya's face for the mission, and should Arya beat the Waif, then Arya herself would do for the mission and it is possibly someone of Arya's list. Jaqen looked too pleased with the result to be happy to just let her go. I don't buy it. Maybe this continues the odd story , even book wise, of Jaqen knowing who she was before she told him. As if the FM's plan, some power in Braavos's plan, has succeeded. They want Aray back in Westeros or somewhere. I'm thinking they need Arya Stark's face and an assassin to wear it. They just didn't expect Arya herself to be the assassin.

My hunch is that Arya will fry bigger fish than being an assassin.

Trial Cleganebowl might be denied but the way they paralleled the brothers in this episode you have to feel it coming somehow. The ending of the Arya story, visually if not logically, was absolutely stunning. It somewhat redeemed the disappointment that they couldn't elevate this Braavos side quest into more than a training stop gap. I'll still hold out hope, however unlikely, that we'll find out this is what Jaqen was planning all along. Verbally confirming that this was as much a test for the Waif as it was for Arya would have been nice too but that's nitpicking. I'm really blindsided by the Brotherhood talking about the White Walkers. No idea how they're going to fit into the bigger picture, rallying the smallfolk towards the Great War maybe? No idea. Everything Riverrun was brilliant, glad they gave Tobias some good stuff to work with. I always assumed what was left of the Brotherhood would help in the Great War. Is that really surprising to everyone? I mean, it's going to be a Dream Team fighting the White Walkers. But before that Snow Bowl and the Battle for Meereen. OH MY GOD. Massive surprise, didn't really think about it. The Brotherhood in the books are a fractured bunch, I kind of just assumed they'd disband once Stoneheart gets her mercy. I reckon this could just be a different direction.

WTF that guy was actually the Steve Love from YouTube? I thought Al was joking in the best performanes thread or that there was a minor actor with the same name. Mindblown

Cleganebowl is still firm guys!! Even if the trial by combat is denied, the fight between Sandor and the Mountain would still happen elsewhere! For the Lord of Light!

I liked how all the Sparrows collectively wet themselves after Cersei's show of force.

Geez, Loras is going to wait this whole time for his trial and get his face melted off by Wildfire right before it even happens. Sucks to be that guy.

If the Faith Militant has gotten what they want , just what do they want from her? A trial that amounts to what?

That was probably one of my least favorite episodes of the entire series. I'm sorry, forgive me.

I don't think it's a spoiler anymore. Qyburn and Cersei basically confirmed it this episode and they said Loras was going to stand trial alongside Cersei. I vote for letting that stand, we all know Cersei's going to fuck shit up now.

I vote for not. If Al thinks it needs to be covered, then it absolutely should stay covered. I'd rather not have anything ruined for me, thanks. @alcasinoroyale pls don't uncover pls pls pls

OK sure, I didn't realize that people here didn't know what Cersei's future plans might be. What are everyone's thoughts on what she and Qyburn were referencing when they were scheming at the end of the scene?

I think what he said was basically just confirming speculation that Loras isn't going to be seen until the very end since he's going to stand a trial at the same time, right? I don't think that's a leak or a spoiler from anything I've seen. But anyways, the rumor Qyburn investigated is still a mystery as well. No one knows for certain but it's heavily implied about the wildfire is my guess. Just speculation at this point for that too! *edit: But that wasn't a 'vote' ... moderators have Faith Militant rights here, sorry!
