Was the music man able to post Dany's music from this episode? So dark and ominous. I love it!

So dark and ominous. I love it! Yeah this is the best mix yet of her original theme from Drogon flying in over Daznak's. I love the darker feel with her coming into her new power. Chills.

Also these of Heartsbane. Now that there are dragons again , theoretically , Valyrian steel could be made again, ... just saying.

Since they made such a big deal of Sam taking Heartsbane, I am even more convinced he will be the key to researching how it was originally done with dragonfire and decide a letter needs written to the Mother of Dragons to ask for some blacksmithing help.

Another great video from Alt Shift X. I feel like these videos are compulsory in every post-episode discussion thread He makes a great comparison between Walder, Balon, Randyll and Tywin and their motivations and how they treat their sons which I never really considered. Yeah I really loved that parallel between all the "Mean Dads" and their "Failed sons" ... I posted it over in the Parallels & Symbolism thread along with the one about the High Sparrow's new crown/faith symbol and Melisandre with Stannis and the Baratheon/Flaming heart one. underthehearttree.freeforums.net/thread/845/symbolism-parallels-season-6?page=6&scrollTo=175081

I don't think Valyrian steel is made with dragons. If it was, the Targa would have more Valyrian Steel. They had dragons for over 200 years after the Doom edit: that is, I don't think it's just dragons, it takes something more, presumably something big or difficult to come by

That's right. The targaryens that came to westeros maybe didn't know how to make the valyrian steel. It would have been a skill that is mastered by a few in their society I would guess.
I thought it required blood sacrifice and now the dragon fire idea. Fire and blood indeed!

Isn't there this one blacksmith in the series who knows how to make Valyrian steel? Tywin said there were three smiths who could work with it, and he picked the best one. I don't think there are currently any who can make it. I bet that's where Sam comes in!

Isn't there this one blacksmith in the series who knows how to make Valyrian steel? Some blacksmiths like Tobho Mott can reforge it. He was the one who forged Widow's Wail and Oathkeeper from Ice, but I don't think any living person knows how to make more. I could be wrong.

There is a place in essos which practices dark magic (blood sacrifice) and they can get steel close to valyrian steel but not quite the same. It was in the world book

Blackfish looks very stern and unhappy here. This looking like it will be a great episode.
